“the episode where cas comes out to dean” GOD.

Thinking about how it took dean a few moments before cas’ words truly sank in. He stood there, open, listened to what he had to say, soaked in every single word but he couldn’t truly grasp it because all he could think of was ‘this is a goodbye. god he’s leaving me again. please don’t leave.’

So when the empty disappears and Cas with it and he’s left alone on that cold concrete floor that’s when the words finally hits. When the true meaning of them fall into place.

Cas loved him. Capital L loved him. And now he’s gone and Dean didn’t say it back.
