[Audio transcript: A clip from the Night Vale live show “The Debate.”
Cecil: One last caller? You are on the air.
Steve: Hi, this is Steve Carlsberg? (Audience cheers) And, um, my question is for Hiram. Hiram—
Cecil: (shouting very loudly) No!!! (Audience laughs) No!!! (Guttural) Steve Carlsberg!?! We are out of time for questions goodbye!!! End transcript]
[ID: A Night Vale comic of the above scene. Cecil is a thin man wearing headphones and a sweater vest, and he furiously shouts, “No!” His teeth grit as his eyes fill with the letters “No!” With deep rage, he yells, “Steve Carlsberg!” He throws his head back and shouts, and the caps lock bold words fill the background. “We are out of time for questions goodbye.” End ID]

Prompt 7: Literary Devices (Team Orange: Motifs) By: @colinthrobinson (tumblr) | megachoirqueer (AO3 & soundcloud)
Submission for OFMP22.
Not only are motifs used in literature, but it is also a musical term, meaning a repeated musical idea. Well, this song as a whole is a motif in regards to the show, playing at all of Stede & Ed's sentimental moments.
This here is a ocean lullaby version of that song, Gnossienne No. 5
I tried to upload but they copyright striked me IMMEDIATELY despite the fact that Erik Satie's been dead since 1925 and this work is in the public domain.
I DID get the midi file from here: https://www.8notes.com/scores/23593.asp?ftype=midi
All I really did was play around with the instrument sounds, tempo, and added some wind and water effects. And seagulls lol. But I find it relaxing and more immersive in the world of OFMD.
Enjoy!
