Finally getting around to compiling a list of hannigram ficrecs for @dont-say-stupid-things after possibly months xD Warning: NOVEL LENGTH Warning#2: always mind the tags of the fic for squicks and triggers
1) The Shape Of Me Will Always Be You by MissDisoriental Wordcount: 278,780 Summary: They’ve survived their clifftop plunge; now Hannibal’s vanished and Will’s pining. In the midst of new threats and a re-emergence of old ones, it takes a series of unexplained events to help Will realise Hannibal may be closer than he dared hoped for.Post canon fix-it and a journey through the resolution of the ultimate Love Crime. Note: 1st POV (but I really didn’t mind at all)
2) This Dangerous Game by MissDisoriental Wordcount: 270,250 Summary: "Keep your wits about you Inspector Graham – I rather fear you are going to need them." London 1888. In order to catch the notorious serial killer known as Jack the Ripper, Will Graham must seek the insights of Dr Hannibal Lecter. Note: 1st POV again (again I really didn’t mind it at all). just...trust MissDisoriental, always, okay????
3) Shark Tank by xzombiexkittenx Wordcount: 71,358 Summary: Will and Hannibal meet in prison. Hannibal is still the Ripper, Will is still a profiler who had encephalitis. Only now they're cell mates. Note: I’ve read this at least 18 times, it’s my new guilty pleasure
4) Consenting To Dream by emungere (+ sequel A Remedy For Love) Wordcount: 32,188 (+ sequel 60,688) Summary: A seduction through physical objects. It starts with a scarf loaned to Will on a cold day, but Hannibal, as usual, isn't satisfied with anything small. Note: it’s just very nicely done on the whole sugar daddy thing. refreshing lol
5) De Profundis by AGlassRoseNeverFades Wordcount: 88,471 Summary: He was in love from the moment he stepped foot into Hobbs’ kitchen and saw the Omega standing there, chest heaving, pulse racing, spattered in the blood of an inferior Alpha. He had vowed to himself then and there that he would have Will, whatever the cost to the profiler’s sanity and to the lives of others. An Omegaverse story in which male Omegas are considered rare and precious according to society's standards. Hannibal decides he wants Will and is ready to start a family with him, regardless of whatever Will wants. Starts in Oeuf but doesn't diverge too drastically from canon until Savoureux. Note: I can only say NOICE. I loved Will in this.
6) A Great and Gruesome Height by mokuyoubi Wordcount: 115,508 Summary: In his mind, the fall lasts a small eternity. In reality, it's maybe two seconds. Will and Hannibal go over the cliff, just like they planned.Picks up where the finale ends, fills in all the blanks of the last episode, and continues through to their new life as Murder Husbands. My version of a fix-it fic. Note: at some point it goes “Hannibal licks his way down Will’s spine, biting down hard between the T3 and 4″ and I haven’t stopped laughing ever since.
7) House Guest by Doxx Wordcount: 106,245 Summary: Written for a kinkmeme prompt. Will figures out who and what Hannibal really is. In response Hannibal steals Will away, and sets to a long-term plan of bringing Will round to his way of thinking. Will unsurprisingly is resistant to the idea of joining in with Hannibal's idea of the perfect meal, but Hannibal is a master of manipulation, and with no-one coming to the rescue, he has plenty of time to change Will's mind. Note: the ending was a surprise lol, but anyway, your good ol’ kidnapping trope.
8) Quiet Asphodel by FKAHerSweetness Wordcount: 174,475 Summary: Once upon a time, there was a great and just king. This king, long ago, adopted a son and groomed the young prince to hunt monsters that roamed the kingdom. One day, the prince comes upon a monster of wild proportions, both fierce and courteous. The prince vows to the monster: 'I will capture you, as my father bids me.' The monster makes his own vow to the prince: 'I will wed you, as my heart bids me.' Note: ohhh this one was clever, I loved the courtship in it
9) Nobody grabbed, nobody pulled by whosays_penultimate Wordcount: 112,401 Summary: Fate and circumstance have a way of conspiring to bring Will Graham closer and closer to the man he called a friend, a monster, an arch enemy, his paddle, his way out of dark places and his infernal guide through the bowels of hell. And so, and perhaps inevitably, a lover. But is the fault really written in the stars, or in Will’s own self? And is the clock ticking forwards, or backwards? Or has it stopped altogether? Note: this was a very nice angsty fic with a very good character exploration tbh
10) Sensates by starkaryen Wordcount: 199,604 Summary: Will Graham is consulting for the FBI on the case of the Minnesota Shrike, but things complicate and everything goes wrong. When he kills Garret Jacob Hobbs, something happens to him and he starts having hallucinations with the known serial killer Hannibal Lecter, who has been imprisoned on the Baltimore State Hospital For The Criminally Insane for three years. Or, at least, Will thinks they’re hallucinations. Note: it got a bit too sugar-y and fluffy for me at a certain point, but it was still a nice one
11) Two Solitudes by emungere Wordcount: 54,490 Summary: After the fall, Will drags Hannibal out of the Atlantic and they find their way north to a remote part of Labrador, where they try to make a life together. Note: this was so beautiful, you can almost feel the cold and the desperate loneliness in it
12) Overcoming by purefoysgirl Wordcount: 325,331 and counting Summary: A Victorian A/B/O romance in which Hannibal Lecter is the future Duke of Westvale who has been away at war for the past ten years. His Grandfather has made good on a contract made shortly after Hannibal's birth to procure him a wife. It was supposed to be easy. Naturally, with the Omega, Will, given in the place of his twin sister, it is anything but, because if there is one thing Hannibal Lecter despises, it's Omegas Note: ongoing, one new chapter each week (36 out of 55 as of today) listen...I LOVE this one. it’s like a classic romance novel but in A/B/O and with hannigram. *applause*
