This has been something I’ve been working on for a very long time, i set out to redesign most of the Sonic Cast, and I plan on starting the redesigns of the villains! I did however want to give a big thanks to some certain artist who really helped inspire me, because its very hard to come up with ideas on the spot.
Sonic, almost brown quills are an allusion to the sonic bible where its said that his quills were first brown but later turned blue. The leg warmers I thought were funny and I wanted to include them. The goggles i figured that his eyesight wouldn’t be great running that fast so to block the wing he’d do that!
Yes I know Shadow probably wouldn’t wear what he’s wearing BUT HE LOOKS SO COOL

I honestly just made Knuckles into my interpretation which is a really dorky cowboy who needs more sleep.
Amy, who i made the same age as Sonic and the others bc idk I felt like it fit better, is my hot take since its said that she has tarot cards and can read them, so i said fuck yes pastel witch who can go goth when needed. Also she has a never ending pocket of baked goods.
As for Rouge, I don’t know why I always give her heart sunglasses, but I always do and will. Idk honestly I think I put a little bit of myself in her.
CREAM. OH MY GOD. I love her design so much its crowded so much, and just what i as a 6 year old would wear and do. HOWEVER, It cramped my hand up so bad i took like a days break.
I have other characters i am literally about to post, but I really hope you guys like these I’m trying really hard to put my art more out there and honestly!
I’m really hoping to gain some Sonic mutuals and friends because I love Sonic and a bunch of other really dorky things and would love to talk to people about it!
I’m just a sad little gay who experiences life by drawing it through Sonic

An alternate redesign of Shadow the Hedgehog. His leg-feet armour were the trickiest parts to figure out since I wanted to keep his iconic shoe design recognisable somehow~

An alternate redesign of Amy Rose. Took my time with her design, especially painting all the details on her dress and the frills oml.

Lots of details went into this one :3I plan on posting a mini info dump on the whole ‘Wisterian’ thing but for the most part it’s a fantasy/steampunk themed alternate universe that my other sonic Oc’s belong in (Their group name is Wisteria which I named after the actual flower) : )
