Say hello to Puppeteer!Error and his (no longer Ink) Puppet
It’s actually first time I drew them :)
And yes, everything seems very cute, if you do not mention the context))
These are the ZI characters: the Puppeteer!Error and his (no longer Ink) Puppet that revived like Frankinstein, sewn together from the parts of everyone who got to that moment Error, trying to put the puzzle together from the collapsed but not dusted Inks carcass, getting him all the missing parts. He even donated his own rib to this cause :,)
The fic hadn't gotten to it yet, there were only mentions that the Puppeteer was able to revive the dead by sewing their parts together. His entire character is a reference to Puppettale, only in much darker tones.
His costume didn't just appear out of nowhere either. It was sewn to him by another legend of the ZI world under the nickname Butterfly. The opinion of the Puppeteer himself at that time was not particularly read yes))
And the Puppet was not always alive as it is shown here. Initially, it was literally a sewn, re-sewn corpse that the Puppeteer constantly dragged along, not noticing anything around. Then he talked to them like an Ink…. Until they came to life.
Honestly, from the way Sariko told me about him, I perceive him as a sort of settled down grandfather who suddenly had a child. He is VERY strongly attached to his Puppet. And it upsets him that although they came to life, but not completely. They still needs his strings and staples to keep them from falling apart. They still can’t feel no pain, no warmth. He really hopes that the Puppet will really come to life. That she really will become something more than just a doll.
