I thought it would be an hour of listening to screaming and looking at pictures of draculas, but it was so much for frightening than fathomed
The thing with taking anti depressants is I don’t know if this sudden dance energy is coming from me or the meds or when i laugh in a fit about a stupid joke is it because I’m feeling joy or its because of the meds or when I feel like exercising today is it because I want to work on a healthier body or if its from the meds or if i didn’t feel the need to spend the day sleeping is it because I’m changing my socializing patterns for real or if its the meds. And I know most people would say it doesn’t matter because you feel better & healthier but I cant cope with the idea that I’m not a changed person and I’m dependent on an external source for all of it and what if I stop taking them and it its reversed back. Its my first time taking meds and I cant deal with a lot of what it means so I’m really trying to untangle and I wonder if its a common feeling.

The writers gave us a scene where a mother agreed to sentence her children to death - the children she raised for war - just so she can "live in peace 😔" and seriously expected us to go: "awww look at that! a woman liberating herself from patriarchal duties and becoming her real self! peak feminism!"

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.
i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.
palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.
they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.
palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.

folks who don't understand why jace is just now choosing to bring up his parentage, don't realize he feels rhaenyra is inadvertently putting him in a similar situation viserys put her in.
by questioning the qualifications of succession (gender in rhaenyra's case and lineage in jace's) it puts his claim to the throne in jeopardy, regardless of what rhaenyra's wishes are or what oaths are made before she dies.
because once she's gone, as we've seen with viserys, not every house will necessarily honor that pledge. he doesn't want to fight a war to protect his claim, especially after witnessing what toll it has taken on his mother.
Maybe in a season of “character building” they should have given some screentime to Jaehaera, how that goth girl named her dragon Morghul, meaning death in high Valyrian & how that sweet child was affected seeing her brother beheaded in-front of her & how that made her mother, the only present parent go mad and being left with no one to care for her & her relationship with her grandmother Alicent who will later ask her to commit murder. Otherwise I fear we will have another Bran situation on our hands.

Its all about duty. Always. Daemon’s vision and his consequent change of heart proves it.
Rhaneyra’s duty to the prophecy and the unity of the realm and the promise she made to her father and her being crushed under that duty and paralyzed, inactive.
Daemon’s newfound duty to overturn the events of the future. His duty to his wife and him running away from it. His duty to the legacy of his House, the one thing he has always cared about more than anything and has always been excluded from.
Alicent’s banner of duty and virtue and it amounting to nothing for her this season. Her duty to the honor of womanhood, to the status of queen, a duty she never wished for herself, her duty as a mother that she is incapable of performing, her duty as a daughter that has been her undoing.
Haelena’s duty as a dragonrider and her refusal to comply. The dragonseeds duty to Rhaneyra and breaking their morals for her. Aegon’s duty to the realm that he is incapable of shouldering. Criston Cole’s duty to the oath that he breaks time and time again out of his own twisted idea of love. And above all the Dragons’ duty to their rider, the strongest bond there ever was, unbreakable loyalty and their downfall.
This is exactly why all that happens is so heartbreaking because all these twisted intertwined beings were just doing their duty to each other and to the realm all for loss and pain and just to set the same wheel in motion that their foremost duty was to.
The vision was the best thing about the whole season and it had made ryan condal’s vision with the show a lot clearer.

also love the fact that the writers made it clear that aemond now realizes that his story of claiming vhagar doesn't make him the special snowflake targaryen of the world like he thinks it did. you know that he's been thinking for years that he has some prophesied greatness for being able to claim a big war dragon on his own and has been using that to inflate his own ego. and then here comes addam, some lowborn boat man who was hand-picked by a war dragon, and now there's another random guy flying over the castle on a dragon. literally everyone gets a dragon you get a dragon i get a dragon the silversmith down the street gets a dragon. and you know that's going to drive aemond NUTS
