⚠NORMAL TYPE APPRECIATION POST⚠
As much of a reputation as this type has for being the boring, ordinary type, I really like the "adaptability" theme that it exhibits. Eevee and its vast evolution options are the most obvious, but there's also the transformation aspect exhibited by Castform and Ditto. Smeargle's ability to learn literally any move with Sketch, not to mention the other volatile Normal-type moves like Mimic, Assist, Hidden Power, and Metronome. Silvally's multi-type mechanic, which comes from it being an artificial attempt to recreate Arceus. The entire type's Ghost immunity and lack of other significant weaknesses, Fighting excepted.
Normal is a bland choice for a Pokemon type at first glance, but it's nonetheless wonderfully versatile and flexible to set it apart from most of the other types, which have their own sets of strengths and weaknesses.

Anyway this is most likely my permanent team for my Let's Go Eevee journey, and I just drove Team Rocket away from Silph Co.
And yes I'm huge on fire types... In fact I let Eva be taught her special fire type move Sizzly Slide
I should probably switch things up before I go against Lorelei, she may be an ice type expert but half or most of her team are water types...
NOTE: I finally gave the rest of my team nicknames, I felt bad for not doing it earlier but to be fair I haven't thought of the names of any of them until now.
