Women in Books: Part 1 - Twilight
“She was one of those rare people who had what they wanted and wanted what they had.” ― Edward
O my love! My wife! Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath hath had no power yet upon thy beauty. Thou art not conquered. Beauty’s ensign yet is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks. And death’s pale flag is not advanced there.
Don’t worry about it, it’ll work itself out. It’s not life or death.

What do you think happened to the human gang (jessica, mike, angela, etc.) after they graduated?
Jessica left Forks and never looked back. The Guide says that she always thought of herself as ‘being less provincial than the locals,’ so she probably never had a very strong emotional tie to the town anyways. Being from Texas, she probably went to college someplace sunny and had a lot of fun during her early 20s (possibly experimenting with girls at some point). She’s been seeing this really amazing guy for the past year and a half, and he’s going to propose soon.
Mike stayed in Forks after graduating and eventually took over Newton’s Olympic Outfitters. He married some nice local girl, possibly someone from school, and they got a lovely house near his parents’ home. They have an adorable 3-year-old boy, with another baby on the way.
Angela went to the University of Washington with Ben/Eric. They got married after they graduated (her dad officiated), and probably moved back to Forks or someplace nearby. They’re insanely happy together, and are planning on having a child soon.
Like Jessica, Lauren left Forks immediately after graduation. She went to college and moved around a lot after that, eventually ending up in New York where she landed a job in a well respected fashion house (not as a model, but that doesn’t bother her since she’s much better at her current job anyway). She’s had a number of casual relationships, but has no time for anything serious. Her work is all she needs right now.
Tyler got an athletic scholarship and went on to play college football. He met his future wife when he nearly ran over her in the parking lot, and (after making sure no one needed an ambulance) proceeded to ask her out. They live in Seattle, and have a golden retriever named Newton.
