You Watch Us Run

Did you see Moffat's buzzfeed interview? He said River was married to many people and that the doctor was " one of many on the shelf." What is Moffat smoking? River gave up her lives for the doctor, she told rory that she lives for the days she sees the doctor, she stopped time to try to save him, she has made it clear she loves him, and she freaking died for him. Is it just me or is Moffat trying to act like River didn't really care that much?

Honestly at this point, Anon, I don’t even care. Lol Moffat can say whatever he likes. It doesn’t mean I have to take it to heart and make it my canon. From what we’ve seen on the show, River is a very devoted, loving spouse who adores her husband. She became a data ghost and fucking haunted his ass. I don’t think she was dividing her ghost!time between Eleven and all her other spouses. *shrug*

And I don’t think she was running around having relationships with other people without the Doctor’s knowledge. That would be a pretty shitty thing to do to be honest. I read that quote and it sounds like the Moff just trying to be funny.

So yeah. I’m not super invested in Moffat’s head canon. Sorry.
