I was scouring the net to see if there was anything from the Portland Wizard World I had missed, or if anybody had posted a video, and came across a story someone had posted on another forum about Matt and Alex’s autographs.
Apparently Alex was asked to autograph the picture of their first kiss - precisely, this picture:
- and by some odd chance, she decided to sign on ‘Matt’.
When the same picture - along with a bunch of other pictures - was given to Matt to sign, he stopped (he just zoomed through other pictures), and said: ‘ “Now why did Alex sign on top of me? Ugh, you can’t do anything with her”
and proceeded to sign. On top of her.
There was the Doctor, still sprawled on the ground where I’d left him, a smile of utter peace and contentment on his face. I flung myself down beside him and shook him hard. ‘Wake up, Doctor! Wake up!’ His eyes flickered open and his smile grew wider, but he was barely focusing. ‘River? What have I told you about sneaking into my bedroom at night?’

#someone should parallel this to 12's reaction to 'oh i'll let you know. i've only seen the face.'#lol#i guess the major difference is that 11#while he knows what she's referring to#hasn't actually experience it yet#whereas 12#who has been married to river for centuries#knows exactly what she's talking about#idek#11/river#so married#tia#i love how much flirting they do in these eps#and it's so obvious how hard he's falling for her#even if he doesn't realize it#i think these are the eps that sold me on Doctor/River tbh#they have so much chemistry#and these were the first eps where you really see the Doctor acting on his crush#he's past trying to run away from river#he quite likes having her around now#enough that he wants her to travel with him all the time#that's one heck of a crush Doctor

Things I love about River and The Doctor [6/??] He fancied a character in a book before he knew that the character was based on and written by his wife.
