Because I am flat out recommending this fic, which I love, I am gonna say ahead of time that these characters are very different from mine, because after 350K and counting, I sorta have a brand, and this is not that.
These two are nothing like the yearning, spark-bound, mind-fucked barely grown lovers in love & darkness & my sidearm.
And they’re not the terrifyingly gentle 4 million year old badafts who handle each other so carefully in Voice of Stanix as they try to repair and recover from the cruelty that’s been dealt to them and the cruelty they’ve participated in.
But I love them so much.
Red’s Soundwave in this fic is even younger than he is in love & darkness, and he’s nonverbal though clearly enthusiastic about what they’re doing. Ravage is male and reads like he’s fully adult.
If this isn’t your thing, you know what (not) to do.
They’re all kinds of broken and beautiful, though, because they’re Ravage and Soundwave, and because they’re Ravage and Soundwave, they will always find a way to love each other.
