Okay so maybe someone has discussed this already - the amount of meta/art/creation resulting from this episode have been AMAZING, but I haven’t been able to keep up with it all - but I wanted to talk about Tweek’s room a little, starting with his desk area. I guess the first thing you would notice that he’s got a lot of empty coffee cups lying around, but what’s also notable is that he’s also taken the time to stack them into little coffee towers and that’s just really adorable to me? It also suggests an aptitude for building that’s reflected in the rest of his room.
First, there’s what seems to be the beginning of an intricate lego castle that we see him working on when Craig comes to visit. There are also model airplanes that we can presume that he’s put together and a complex structure made out of one of those building kits sitting on the floor. And like, all of this implies that Tweek is pretty analytical and also creative- he’s got some budding STEM skills! Tbh That these imaginative contraptions constitute the background of the scene where Craig tells him that he’s capable of more than he thinks is also incredibly fitting and touching.
Finally, as more of an aside, I remember back in season 17 during the Black Friday trilogy, a couple people noticed that Tweek’s toy weapons were like, REALLY detailed and realistic in appearance. Going by this most recent depiction of his room, that observation is pretty consistent with the rest his interests/talents- it wouldn’t be that much of a reach to assume he made those “weapons” himself. Coincidence? Probably, but I appreciate how it turned into subtle continuity.
