UPDATE: PROOF OF PURCHASE!
Hussam spent the last few days sourcing food for everyone in the camp, and this is what he managed to find! All that’s left for him is to find cheese to add to the food packages, and after that he will be sending them out to everyone.
For those of you who have been following this, my tumblr 'helpgazachildren' was deleted for unknown reasons. In the meantime, I put together this notion site to help document all the receipts and videos of updates for people who want a backlog of information. I will be continuously updating this site.
Please consider donating today. Your donations go directly to people in need with NO middle man in between. No donation amount is too little, or if you're unable to donate please spread the link today!!!
For those who cannot donate through paypal, here is Hussam's gofundme! Please note that Paypal is still the preferred way to donate!
And it just happened—Nasser Hospital, the main hospital in southern Gaza, is completely out of service. Only 4 staff are left taking care of the patients, of whom there are hundreds. This leaves Palestinians curled up on the floor in agony waiting for medical help—only there aren’t even enough medical supplies to tend to them even with healthcare workers on hand.
Israel actually did it. They have blatantly targeted a hospital, abducted its healthcare workers, and left it entirely out of function. And nobody stopped them.
As we’re speaking btw, Israel is actively targeting al-Amal Hospital with artillery fire. This is literally the only other healthcare facility in Khan Younis that’s still standing. What do you think will happen to the endless amounts of Gazans wounded once Israel inevitably blows it up? What do you think will happen?
Wanted to let you guys know that Let’s Talk Palestine has just launched fundsforgaza, an initiative created for the purpose of spotlighting families in urgent need of emergency funds. This list highlights families who’re trying to evacuate Gaza, but which aren’t getting enough attention. Please donate if you can—and whether or not you can, spread this to as many people as possible. The delay between this second and the next could make a difference in whether a family gets to live or not.
They will also be rotating through various campaigns to ensure that families get prioritized in turn. That way no family that’s “further down” the proverbial list gets neglected.
I am sorry to everyone who tagged me in some tag game and I never responded. I saw it and thought “aww they thought of me” and proceeded to forget about it right after
Skip Google for Research
As Google has worked to overtake the internet, its search algorithm has not just gotten worse. It has been designed to prioritize advertisers and popular pages often times excluding pages and content that better matches your search terms
As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable. As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.
Below is a concise list of useful research sites compiled by Edward Clark over on Facebook. I was familiar with some, but not all of these.

Google is so powerful that it “hides” other search systems from us. We just don’t know the existence of most of them. Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information. Keep a list of sites you never heard of.
www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.
www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.
https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.
www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.
http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.
www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.
www.pdfdrive.com is the largest website for free download of books in PDF format. Claiming over 225 million names.
www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free

Nothing screams ahistorical more than pinning this ongoing devastation in Gaza on October 7 alone.
What this purposely ignores is the fact that there was no "October 7" in 2008/9, when Israel's aggression in Gaza killed 1,385 Palestinians. There was no "October 7" in 2014 either, when Israel's aggression against Gaza killed 2,251 Palestinians. There was no "October 7" that lead to the Israeli aggressions in Gaza in 2012, 2021 or 2022, nor in the many years before which were filled with Israeli massacres and ethnic cleansing all the way to 1948 and beyond.
This of course attempts to paint Israel's disproportionate violence as retaliation when in fact it is a continuation of its terror and brutality. October 7 is not the context. Colonisation is.
sometimes the stuff that comes out about what israel is doing sounds just so unbelievably egregious like. the definition of an antisemitic conspiracy theory (ex. the israeli skin banks, stealing palestinian bodies) and so fundamentally offensive to human life that my automatic reaction is like "i need to make sure this is real because my heart doesn't want it to be" and then i look it up and it's real and it's just. completely heartbreaking every single time. and zionists keep acting like we want these things to be true like we're relishing in it and it's like. no i think the vast majority of people on earth right now would rather that none of this was happening at all, that every palestinian killed was still alive and their bodies weren't being stolen and experimented on... i sincerely wish with every bone in my body that this shit was not happening i am not taking any enjoyment from this at all...
