heres a little snippet of what it was like falling in love, as a person with depression.

I'm back. Took a Huge hiatus as I was pregnant and just had a baby in November and have been adjusting to my new life (I have a 7 year old and newborn as well now. My hands are SO FULL) Hoping to get inspired to write soon. I missed Tumblr so much. ❤️
Had guy fiery sign my sketch book but it was a loud bar so he went “SEX BOOK?” Then immediately grabbed it and started flipping through it and went “ahhh sketch book” and signed a random page
I frequently got school visits from Robert Maillet, since he was local. And come to find out he's my 3rd cousin. We had talked over Facebook a out how we're related, told me some very inspiring things when i asked how he came to be where he is, and he is so kind and sweet. I always admired him in 300 and in Sherlock Holmes after the fact. (I come from a low income family and it inspired me to write and put my creativity out there, even if it only gets a few likes or reblogs, if he can do it, so can I one day)
i love how delusional some articles of clothing are, like you read the tag and its like “hand wash only/tumble dry on low” son you are a cotton tshirt. youre going in the warsh and whatever happens in there is in gods hands
One shot summary: You've caught the flu and get board of your own bedroom so look for somewhere else to recover. You are joined by Loki who finds himself helping to keep you better. You end up catching more than an illness.
Mentions of vomiting
Notes: This is kind of stupid, just pure fluff. it's definitely not the best thing I've ever written but I fancied writing something soft so I did. Hope you enjoy.
You felt awful.
It was definitely the flu, and you had definitely picked it up from Chelsea’s birthday party. You shouldn’t have gone out in December wearing a short dress and no coat but you did anyway in the name of not having to lug a coat with you everywhere. Now you were paying the price.
As a fic writer, i need every reader to know that:
I don’t care if your comment is coherent. I know what you mean and i love you
I don’t care if you ramble. I read every word and i love you
I don’t care if you leave a comment on a fic from four years ago or leave comments/kudos on like ten of my fics in one go. This isn’t IG, pls stalk my AO3. I love you
I don’t care if you mention the same thing in your comment that four other people have already mentioned. It’s actually really useful to know what resonated with people and I love everyone who takes the time to tell me they liked a particular turn of phrase
I don’t mind if your comment is super long or just a couple of sentences, i love them all
Prompt- Loki meets reader because he’s out in a storm in NYC and she runs out to share an umbrella with him and get him to his destination- they walk and talk or whatever you think they’d do!
You can’t quite put a finger on what exactly makes you so invested in the ongoing struggles of the tall stranger outside the cafe. It’s not like he’s the only poor soul trying to go about his business in the middle of a nasty wintery storm. In fact, seeing everyone else hurrying to and fro only serves to make you more grateful that you didn’t have to actually go into the office today. Remote working, along with a delicious bagel and some hot tea, is infinitely better than listening to your desk-mate melt down over every minute detail of his impending wedding. Here, at least, there’s some variety of meltdowns to watch.
The tall man in the black suit, however, has garnered more than mild curiosity; for one thing, the umbrella he’s been struggling to turn right-side-out looks a little charred. For another, he’s just standing there in the middle of the wind and rain like he hardly even notices it, despite the fact that his pale cheeks are wind-stung and his hair is wild. He finally gives up and hurls the umbrella across the street with such force that you wonder if he might be some errant Olympic javelin-thrower. He looks up at the sky, goes to retrieve the umbrella, then stands for another moment by the intersection - you think he’s glaring at his watch, but the rain’s become so heavy that the details are obscured. He turns his head, like he’s trying to decide where to go, and that’s when impulse kicks in; you shove your laptop into the waterproof pocket in your backpack, toss your nearly-empty cup in the trash, and hurry out of the cafe, your own umbrella unfurling.
“Hey!”
He turns, and now that you have a clear view of his face, your nerve wavers. He’s got the cheekbones of an angel - a very familiar angel, though you can’t quite place—

I always forget about my obsession with -smutty- fanfic until I get hundreds of notifications with tags when I should absolutely -not- be reading fanfic.
