It took me a while to decide which house I wanted to put Naruto in. I just couldn't refuse Hufflepuff

What Makes SasuNaru Real...

I wanted to make a long post about all of SasuNaru moments. But then I realized that I would have to put the whole manga here, so I’ll be just picking out my favorites.

To me, this is really important. Sasuke needs to be a ninja to defeat Itachi. And, Kakashi clearly stated that Naruto eats no food or they fail. Still, Sasuke gave his lunch to Naruto. He denied the clear rules, for Naruto’s sake.

This. This is one of the most important moments for SasuNaru. It’s not just about Sasuke protecting Naruto. He knew Haku would go for Naruto, but he still threw himself in front of him. Sasuke had his dreams. His dreams of killing his brother and avenging his clan. He put his dreams aside, and still wanted to die for Naruto’s sake. And when he’s asked, he doesn’t have any idea why he did it. His body moved on his own.

I would also like to add here that, Sasuke awakened his sharingan thanks to Naruto, and Naruto first used Kyuubi’s chakra thanks to Sasuke. Their will to protect each other always makes me happy.

Naruto gets the force to keep him going from Sasuke. Sasuke is the one who inspires him.

Ahh, the Valley of End. It’s such an important place for our boys. 

Here, Sasuke says, “Naruto, I…”

I just wonder what he was going to say? I’m sorry? I didn’t mean to? I love you? We’ll never know.

And the infamous look Sasuke gives Naruto. When Kakashi reaches them, Sasuke’s already gone. So, I cannot help but wonder, for how long Sasuke stared at Naruto? I also would like to think that he gave his Naruto one last kiss before leaving him.

I think that the first part of the Naruto is about Sasuke reaching out to Naruto. And the second part is all about Naruto reaching out to Sasuke.

I just love this part. Naruto easily turns into 4 tails,  just because Orochimaru calls Sasuke as his. 

I’m totally in love with this part, where Sai asks Naruto why he’s so willing to go so far for Sasuke, knowing that Naruto doesn’t stand a chance against Orochimaru. And what Naruto says?

“I don’t care who I have to fight! If he rips my arms out, I’ll kick him to death! If he rips my legs off, I’ll bite him to death! If he rips my head off, I’ll stare him to death! And if he gouges out my eyes, I’ll curse him from the grave! Even If i’m torn to shreds, I’m taking Sasuke back!”

Words are not enough to describe about how I feel about this. I think this is where I totally fell in love with how Naruto loves his Sasuke.

Just look at this. Look how they are gazing at each other. After three years apart, their longing is clearly shown in their eyes.

Most people miss this point. Sasuke did nothing to stop Sai. It’s Naruto who holds Sai’s hand, and prevents him from harming Sasuke. Sasuke knew that Naruto would protect him.

Fire and wind. That’s what Naruto and Sasuke are. And they were created for each other. What makes Sasuke alive is Naruto.

Naruto getting beat up just because he won’t sell out Sasuke. His devotion for Sasuke is indisputable.

I have no words for this. This. Naruto swallows his pride as a ninja, and begs for Sasuke’s life to be spared. 

Naruto hyperventilating and fainting after hearing they decided to dispose of Sasuke. Naruto simply can’t breathe in a world where there is no Sasuke.

Naruto was crying for Jiraiya here. But at the same time, he was crying for Sasuke. Because that was the moment when he first realized what Sasuke meant by losing bonds. Naruto lost Sasuke, and he’s crying for him. 

This, this, this. Sasuke realizes Naruto understands him. Naruto states just how far he can go for Sasuke. He’s ready to die with him. 

And after so many things, here they are. Yin and Yang. Darkness and Light. Heaven and Earth. In samurai culture, married couples are considered as two sides of a coin. One of the spouses is yin, whereas the other is yang. They complement each other. Just like Sasuke and Naruto.

Ahhh, I feel good. Sasuke’s back. He protects his baby.

I love this lalalla… To Sasuke only Naruto matters. The reason he protected Sakura and Kakashi is just because they were standing by his side, nothing more.

I guess I don’t need to explain why I love this.

Why I love this? Because Sasuke needed to make a decision here. And he chose to protect Naruto, instead of Sakura or Kakashi.

The reason why I absolutely love this is because Sasuke knew Naruto was going to use a stupid jutsu. But he still let him. He indulged Naruto in the middle of the battle, not caring about anything.

Here we are again, Sasuke wanting to kill Naruto. Because Naruto’s his only light. The one who makes Sasuke forget about the past and his pain. The one Sasuke sees as his future.That’s why Sasuke wants to kill Naruto. Also, I really like the part where Sasuke says shadow clones show how lonely Naruto is. Because it’s true. Even he has million friends, Naruto’s not whole without Sasuke. He’s alone in the crowd, and I think that’s what hurts the most. 

No words. Sasuke realizes that the have been in love from the start.

Again, a panel that shows they clearly share the same feelings for each other.

There is no need to explain why I love this, but still, Sasuke’s able to cry when he’s with Naruto. He smiles, laughs when he’s with him. He calls him with his pet name after so long. He only accepts him and noone else. And, they are clearly holding hands here, forming a heart. 

Chap 698-699 are really important for our boys. They show that from the start, they shared the same feelings, they felt the same, and just how far would they go for each other. They do know that they love each other, and as Naruto gives back the headband, Sasuke promises to come back for Naruto. The headband is the symbol of their patience when it comes to each other. It’s the symbol of the harships they went through in the path of finding themselves and each other. It’s the symbol of their forbidden love. And no matter what, they move forward alongside love and hatred. Perhaps that’s what makes them our Sasuke and Naruto.

Serious melancholy:

I legitimately cry that Sasuke and Naruto didn’t end up together. It seriously breaks my heart. I can’t believe after all that heartache, all that desperation to bring him home, after wishing on shooting stars and every single little moment in between… From Naruto being excited that his wind energy was perfect for Sasuke’s Fire, from letting himself get beat… Sasuke calls him his one and only… He is all that is preventing him from darkness. You guys know what I’m talking about ! How are they not together? How can they just up and marry other people? And more important, do I have a psychological problem?
