NOTE: if you’re sending mail from the united states you MUST put “SOUTH KOREA” underneath the entire address, including postcode.
For those sending from the United States (and other countries who might ask you for the address in English), you may have trouble at the post office when sending your letter if you've only written the address in Korean. IF THAT IS THE CASE, here's the address for you in English:
Recruit Kim Ryeo Wook Army Recruit Training Center, 37th Division 2nd Company Chungcheongbuk-do Jeungpyeong-gun Jeungpyeong-eup PO Box No. 82-10 Postal code: 27913 South Korea
It is a little out of order (because Korea writes it's addresses big to small and the US from small to big) but as long as you have both addresses on there, once it gets to Korea they won't even look at the English address. That's just for getting it out of the country. But make sure you're double checking for accuracy, especially if you’re not studying Korean or don’t know a lot! Here's the Korean address again so that you can copy/paste:
대한민국 충청북도 증평군 증평읍 사서함 82-10호 37사단 신병교육대대 2중대 김려욱 훈련병 우) 27913
