And it's seems just funny then you first go through the chapter without even paying attention to this, but then you stop and think and it become even more funnier.

I mean, for Yor it isn't something important, like, yeah, they were shooting at us, another normal day, she doesn't really think it maybe something you should be concerned about.

And Anya? I think you can see her face and understand that she is totally okay with this too.

And I like to imagine that they return home, start doing their normal things and then Anya is just describing her day to her father and randomly mentioning like, "oh and, by the way, we almost got shot". Twilight thinks it's just Anya with her fantasies, but then Yor is regularly confirming this, like it's nothing special, because she has no idea how normal people live their lives

So Twilight will just spend his next two hours rereading some books and trying to understand is it normal that his wife and his daughter consider shooting as a usual thing and, finally, coming to conclusion that Yor is just very brave and strong and Anya is just Anya

A Twiyor AU where Twilight and Thorn Princess are both sent to a luxury beach resort by their respective organization to take out international crime boss, Leonardo Hapoon, who’s staying at the resort. Thorn Princess, going by her actual name, Yor Briar, and Twilight, going by Loid Forger in this mission, idly wait at the resort for a meeting with their respective handlers for further information.

Incidentally, Loid and Yor meet at the hotel bar. Unbeknownst to one another of the other’s identity, they share a conversation over a few drinks and quickly hit it off. Their conversation later turns to them flirting and ultimately results in Yor bringing Loid back to her room. The two spend the night in lustful passion and wake up together the next morning. The pair split up to prepare for their work, but tell each other that they hope to meet again before the end of their trip.

Loid meets up with Handler at a private cabana on the beach. She briefs him on his mission pertaining to Hapoon, but tells him about the catch.

“Twilight, you’ll have a partner for this mission, but one that’s outside of our organization.” Handler tells him.

Twilight stare at her in confusion.

“You’ll be working with an agent of Garden, our newest ally.”

Sylvia turns her attention to something behind Twilight.

“How lovely of you to join us.” Handler greets.

Twilight’s eyes widen at who now stands in front of him. Thorn Princess returns the look as she enters Handler’s office.

“L-Loid?” Yor asks, befuddled.

“Seems you two have already met. Twilight, meet your partner, Thorn Princess.”

I just realized that Anya doesn't seem to give a shit about the nuclear family thing. At first she just finds Twilight and she's like "Cool spy who can take care of me! Adopt me please!" and she would have been okay with just having him, but then they needed a mom for the interview so Twilight went like "I gotta find a wife" and Anya went like "Papa needs a wife" and welp they ran into Yor and Anya went like "Cool assassin who can help papa's mission! Marry my papa please!" and now she's also fine with like, Loid and Yor being a fake couple

Like I get the fun part of making Anya a matchmaker, I do, but in reality she was just like Cool Papa and Cool Mama! No complicated feelings needed!

Like for all intents and purposes, if she met another person whose job she considered cool and she found would be a good parent for her, she would be very likely to propose they have a polycule marriage because why not. The more parents the better.

I guess it's got a lot to do with her young age and complete lack of understanding of romantic love, but still. It's something to think about, lol

Anya’s a combination of her parent’s colors!
