potentially hilarious aspect of the Maddie-Eddie dynamic would be if Maddie is literally the only person who is completely immune to the Eddie Diaz Most Beautiful Man Who Makes Everyone Obsessed With Him effect.

Buck is like ok MAYBE i'm in love with Eddie, but everyone is at least a LITTLE in love with him so it's not weird. And Maddie is like I don't think that's true?? and Chim is like no actually he's right. And Maddie is just like ??? EDDIE???

He's literally just Some Guy to her. Like he's her brother's best friend, she likes him fine, but like. He's just a guy.
