Focusing on Reality | Akira | Endgame Post 2 | Re: Ryou, Minnie and Saki

Was she being snapped out of a daydream? Ryou's words cut through the tension and conflict inside of Akira. Cloudy glasses came off metaphorically. Maybe she was just easily convinced and/or gullible? Who knows. She didn't.

Her eyes shifted attention to Daisy's frantic squirming. What was she trying to do? Deny it? There's no way of knowing, but despite the questions...

"...You didn't answer my question, but I'll believe you."

Akira put her vote in. She thought things were going to swiftly end, but another problem arose in the form of Saki and Minnie. Better address the latter first.

"Minnie, if there's anyone he definitely hurt with his motive, it's my boyfriend Madoka. He has a phobia of water and the video showed him in a shallow pool. While I really need to be there for him right now, I'm giving Ryou a chance anyway."

And finally...she turned to face Saki.

"You know that I'll have to spring into action if you do anything with that, sis. I don't want you doing anything you'll regret so put the weapon down and don't threaten to kill anyone."

Hesitant Conclusion | Akira | Endgame Post 1 | Re: Ryou

Now Playing: Final Choice

There it was. Ryou's confession and proposal.

Akira's eyes were wide with shock. Madoka was still okay? He was fine? She didn't know how to feel. He and everyone else's loved ones were cooped up in some unknown warehouse. Ryou was a Riot Leader. Daisy thought of the motives.

Now she had to pick between a friend or the man who wanted to redeem himself.

Tears were already welling up in her eyes. Just thinking about it hurt. The executions that she had watched...one was going to happen, no matter what. There was no 'save everyone' option. No hidden or 'true' ending to the story. Saki's begging only made it worse. Soon enough, she began to simply voice her thoughts. Akira wasn't even aware of it to begin with.

"N-No, no, this-- I d-don't want to believe this. I'd do anything for Madoka, I-- I wa-want to make sure he's okay. I want to hold him in my arms, but...!"

She struck her podium with a closed fist.

"No one else c-cares about Daisy, but I've seen her cry! She's c-cried to me countless times, because her family was at risk. Blackmail, hostages, I don't k-know what you'd call it, but they were in danger right from the beginning."

A phrase just...kept repeating itself in her head. It wasn't helping. Those words felt like a fire that enraged her the more she stared into it. Again, Akira slammed down onto the podium. Tears wouldn't stop going down her face.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes tight, wiping away as many tears as possible. Even so, the more she thought about it, the more that one choice was brighter.

"It's...hard. I t-think-- I think I know what choice is the lesser of two evils."

That phrase. Those words Ryou had spoken...

'Change could never be attained without violence.'

She muttered those words to herself - almost a whisper in volume. Her mind, soul, heart - everything - couldn't agree with that.

"And-- A-And I'm sorry if I sound harsh, Ryou, but I can't agree with your views on change. I'm a Superhero. I made change happen because I wanted to be the living embodiment of an ideal. Freedom, love, justice, I strived for all of that, but I did it with as little conflict as possible! I had to punch, kick, disarm, though I always gave people a choice! The way you and I do things are different, so...I want to see you develop into a person that can change without violence - without riots and hordes!"

A pause. Akira was worried about the reaction she'd get, but those words couldn't be left unsaid.

"If you can promise me that you'll make an attempt, I'll feel much better about voting to keep you alive. I'm...already going to vote for that, though."

Be Hopeful | Akira Trial ?? Post 3 | Re: Ryou

Now Playing: Unfortunate Destiny

Akira was ready to stop blurting out random evidence and talk about things that could actually incriminate Ryou. The trial - everything about this despair situation - had...stressed her out. It brought her down, it was exhausting. She just...wanted out and right now, her mental state wasn't the best.

...So when Ryou finally admitted to it, she felt relief. Akira always (in her eyes) wanted to believe in the best of people. She wanted to hear answers, but was conflicted. If Ryou was telling the truth, then there's always the chance for redemption, but...damn it. The opposite - lying - could be true, and she'd be a fool.

"Ryou..."

It was surprising to hear him admit it. She could feel some fear coming from him. Honestly, Akira didn't want to vote, fearing that Ryou would be killed...but if he was the Mastermind, he could stop that from happening.

"Alright. I-- I had more to say, about you mentioning Malcom X and riots, but...you've already admitted to it. I'll believe you on this."

She flashed a quick smile to Saki, then put in her vote as well as Minnie's vote. Akira was asked to do that, after all.

Missing Mascot | Akira Trial ?? Part 2 | Re: Iwao, Ryou

Akira tried to think about the name. Takumi Miyake…Takumi Miyake. T M, M T, she tried to fiddle around with the name in her head, but nothing was coming. Okay, so that idea was out of the question. Ryou didn’t know about the explosives either and she trusted Saki’s words…

So what was going on?

Iwao spoke up as well. No names were mentioned, but Akira knew that the boy was talking about Daisy. Her face grew dark for a moment. She was…upset. Clearly worried sick about something.

“Hey…guys. I mentioned Daisy’s glasses…but there’s something else. Before the motive was revealed, Daisy approached me in the Laundry Room. It was just us two. I…I was told that they hated what she did in the last trial. Nobody dying? Mastermind votes being a thing? They hated her for doing that. I was mad. I wanted to go after them right now - as I was sure it was Ryou - but she said I couldn’t.”

She grew more and more distressed as she spoke. Akira could remember the whole scene vividly, reliving it in her head. Getting angry, sitting down by the washing machine, seeing Daisy look at her with sadness…she was telling herself not to cry the whole time.

“I– I vowed to keep her alive and safe, but I don’t know if she’s living anymore. She said…she said that it would be the last time we’d ever speak to each other. She said that she loved me dearly, believing herself to be a dead woman walking at this rate. She didn’t want me to confront Reality, saying they were a sadist. A monster! Maybe Ryou has different personalities…or he lost his memory…or there’s a third party involved– I don’t know! I want to find Daisy and make sure that she’s safe. This whole time, she’s been putting on a brave face, trying to act like a cold witch to all of us, but she was in despair. This whole time, Daisy’s been trying to help us from the shadows and I don’t want that to end in her death! She even gave me a film reel. It contained ten…solid minutes of carnage. It was a riot somewhere. People were going mad. Violence was everywhere and…it was so hard to watch. She said that the Mastermind told her to burn it. Daisy hadn’t even watched it. There…there was a gloved hand. I couldn’t see who was holding the camera, but I saw the person filiming had a gloved hand. It was shaky and objects were being thrown.”

Reality's Name | Akira Trial ?? Part 1 | Re: Minnie, Saki, Manabu and Iwao

So, this was it. The trial to catch Reality has begun. Akira watched her surroundings grow more sinister. Dim lighting. A locked exit. It was suspenseful, but the girl didn’t mind this. She’d catch the Mastermind even if it was the last thing she’d ever do.

But was this really a good start? Minnie was aggressive and furious, Saki was crying, Manabu brought to light something that scared Akira…it wasn’t pretty. An angered girl, a crying girl and explosives. And worse yet, Iwao’s CD only made something else evident. It wasn’t a nice thought to have, but Akira needed to deal with this step-by-step.

“Minnie…”
“Getting overly upset and childish isn’t going to solve this trial, okay? We all suspect Ryou, but I agree with Saki. We need to at least lay all the evidence out. You can get passionate. I have no problem with that! Being emotionlessly serious isn’t…right, but on the other end of the spectrum, blindly yelling isn’t going to help us think,”

Her eyes went over to Saki, uttering the rest of her words while looking at the Violinist. She was torn apart by her emotions. Just one look at Saki’s face could tell even Akira that.

“Nor will it help our hearts.”

Okay. She needed to focus on evidence, now. Manabu and Iwao brought two good pieces. An audio clip and something about explosives. She felt the need to contribute with her evidence as well.

“I have a lot of evidence with me. I’ll start with something I found recently. There was a door in the theater hallways, just big enough for me, Iwao, Minnie and Tsutomu to crawl through one by one. Thanks to Tsutomu, we were able to get in. It led to a secret room filled with files. In there…we found two things. One of them was Daisy’s glasses stained with blood. I couldn’t find her, though. Next was a file…”

She glanced around. Her face grew serious at this point.

“On one ‘Takumi Miyake’. There’s a warrant out for his arrest, since he’s responsible for several riots in downtown Tokyo. Daisy told me during the third murder investigation that her boss loved to cause riots. This has to be Reality! The family name means it’s the same 'Miyake-sama’ we’ve heard about! This means that, combined with Iwao’s evidence, someone here is using a fake name and talent. It can’t be Oshiro-kun, either, and not just because of what Saki said. There was a scribbled note - possibly from Daisy during that one year of lost memories - that kept talking about 'two Takumi’s’ in a frantic, worried tone.

…Akira exhaled deeply afterwards. That was a lot to say. She’s given big speeches before as SJB, sure. This was something else. A trial to find Reality. The person responsible for everything wrong here. It could all be ended here.

Super Attack | Akira Trial 5 Part 1 | ATTN: That One Guy

Akira really wasn't in the right mindset to do much. So, when the investigation's end had been announced, she felt a twinge of uselessness creep up into her head. She couldn't back down, though. There were several people thinking the same thing as her.

'We need to find Reality'

The trial had started and people were already voting for a Mastermind Trial. Akira was no exception - she even voted in Minnie's place too. She spoke out as soon as Minnie yelled, her expression trying to remain neutral. Her fists were clenched tightly, though.

Now Playing: A Hero's Resolve

"One of my best friends is dead along with two other people. Not only that, but my blind boyfriend was put in water, something he fears greatly. I can't forgive that. I can't forgive this experiment, test, game, whatever you want to call it."

She definitely sounded angry. A fiery, passionate kind of anger. She was doing her damndest to not cry. No more tears. She's shed enough on Tsutomu's corpse and she's watched Saki spill three times that amount.

"No more. I won't stand for any more of this cruelty. The only way out of here without more bloodshed is to find Reality. We'll honour these deaths that way. I...I want to find who killed ANGEL, Takumi and Tsutomu, but we also need to find Reality in order to stop more of these cruel deaths."

Her gaze turned to Ryou. She was well aware that her accusation was going to be blunt.

"Sorry, Ryou. All eyes are on you. We'll decide here and now if you're Reality or not."

That Which Cannot Be Replaced | Akira | Body Reaction 5

Akira's staring at the ceiling. She can't help but dwell on the person in her locket. That delicate, sweet boy. Her...

She wants him to live. Nothing can beat the despair of him dying.

Just then, the voice of Daisy fills the cinema. An overwhelming amount of joy hits her. It's Daisy! Where is she? Akira wants to run out of her room and meet her right now. Box Office. She might be there.

However, just as the hero opens the door, she hears the word 'body'. Body. Someone died. Out of everyone here, Akira knows a lot of people. There's, what, two that she doesn't really know? That's a small chance. A very small chance.

...

She arrives at the scene. Her worries for who the victim is mixed with fear towards Daisy's condition is nothing compared to the shock she feels. Her pupils shrink, her eyes widen and she feels time grind to a complete halt. Takumi, she recognizes. Angel, she doesn't. Tsutomu...she does.

Tears are rapidly streaming down her face before long. Akira is overwhelmed. Not with joy, but with despair and anger. Who would dare do this? Who would kill not one, not two, but three people? One of them she considered family?!

"T-Tsutomu! I-- I v-vowed...I w-w-wa-wanted you t-to live!"

Her legs go weak in an instant. She crumbles to the floor, next to Tsutomu's body. They're dead. Gone. Akira wanted to punch, solve, yell and do anything to get them back. Her loved one is safe, but...she didn't want it like this! Not like this!

So, the only thing Akira can do is scream. An anguished, agonized scream leaves their lips and she'd curled up on the ground, crying next to Tsutomu's body.

Hero's Elegy | Motive 5 Reaction | Akira (Closed)

Akira was scared. Daisy was nowhere to be seen. She couldn't find her. No matter how hard she tried, no matter how much she checked the Box Office, there was no sign of her. What...what was going on? This couldn't be happening. She didn't want a body to appear. Akira didn't want her body to appear.

...

No bodies yet. Only a film reel left on her bed. She held it up, staring at it for a long time. Damn it. Akira didn't want to see this. Nothing but bad things were on this. In a place like this, there was no reason to second guess that thought. Yet, still, curiosity burned inside of her. She had to go see. A tiny, tiny shard was clinging onto the belief that it was good news. A message, maybe.

...

No. No. No! This wasn't happening. Akira had entered the projection room, she had watched the reel in detail and kept the room closed for a good five minutes after that. This wasn't happening. Of...of all the things. Why? Why this? She was being forced into the despair-filled abyss. The hero - one who fights for justice and hope - was tasting true despair. Not pain or grief brought on by shock, but real...agony.

Her exit out of the projection room was shaky and wobbly at best. Even then, she couldn't walk after the first few seconds and collapsed to the floor on her knees. Akira was clutching her head by the sides, staring at the ground. All she did was mutter one word. A name.

"Madoka...Madoka...Madoka..."

(I can't lose you. I don't want to lose you.)

One of her hands clutched the heart-shaped locket around her neck.

Strained Code | Akira Trial 4 | Re: Ryou, Tsutomu, Minnie (sort of)

Akira was also upset over Ryou's suggestion. This trial was getting chaotic quickly, what with several issues now being brought up. Her idea didn't work, Asa's death was called into question and now Tsutomu was seriously volunteering themselves for being executed.

"No, I'm not letting someone throw their life away!"

While she had shouted these words to the crowd, her look of anger was replaced in a matter of seconds.

"I don't agree with your idea at all, Shinjitsu-san. I-- I don't want Tsutomu, Iwao, Saki or anyone to die. Regardless of what one may have done or how much we've talked, I feel a connection with all of you. I don't want any of you dying needlessly."

How does she approach this, then? Unknowingly, Akira's hands were tightly gripping the podium.

"I...this is very hard for me to say, so bear with me. A new area opens up after each trial, right? Then...that also means new c-clues."

She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. In her head, this was going against her own morals. To her knowledge, those morals - her code - hasn't been broken at all.

"I d-don't want to go after the Mastermind yet. This means waiting for another murder, which is why this is so hard for me to say! We need...just more time. It sounds crazy. Gh-- Damn it."

Akira was struggling to say anymore. She got her point across. That's what mattered, right? Maybe. That may have just been one of the hardest things she's had to say.

"Let's just...try to return to Asa-san's case, okay? Why'd they remove their shoes? And...it may just be me, but do you just roll over onto your back when you throw yourself through a window wall like that?"

One Way Door | Akira Trial 4 | Re: Tsutomu

Wait.

What?

Akira couldn't believe what Tsutomu was saying. If nothing else...then they should find Reality. She knew what that meant. There was no denying the fact she was nervous. Scared, even. Everyone had figured out the 'murder' now, so...it was either find a loophole...

Or find Reality.

"Tsutomu...I don't know what to say. I'll support you all if we want to catch the Mastermind right here and now...but there's something bugging me about this."
"Call me overly worried, but I feel like there's a chance of this becoming a 'no turning back' scenario. It sounds silly, but we'll be throwing around accusations, evidence, testimonies..."

Akira sighed, scratching the side of her head. She really was struggling to find the right answer to this. What should she even decide on? Damn it. She trusted and believed in everyone, but she doesn't want an innocent to die over her eagerness to find the Mastermind.

...Wait. Innocent. Innocent...

Is this what she's looking for? Akira gets her hopes up. Her face considerably brightens up and if there weren't so many people here, the conflicted look could be waved off as something imaginary.

"Hang on a second! If I'm remembering the rules correctly, Ueno-chan outlined the rules of a trial as such..."

'Guess right and the killer is executed. Guess wrong and whoever you voted for dies instead.'

It was paraphrased, but Akira was going to just roll with it. Her memory wasn't good enough to remember the exact words, only the general point behind them.

"Asa-san killed themselves. If we're wrong about this, they still die. If we're right, they still die. If someone else dies, then doesn't that mean it's breaking the rules?"

It was a straw. An actual straw. She wanted to cling onto that and hope to hell that it didn't break. For all Akira knew, it was just going to be flung back into her face with a simple 'no'. If it gave hope to the others, though, then the answer doesn't matter.

Reversed Thinking | Akira Trial 4 Part 1 | Re: Minnie and Sahar. ATTN: Everyone

Whoa, this trial was already starting off strong. Actually, Akira was a bit taken aback. She felt like the first half of this trial was going to be very, very short. It would be something painful but quick. She could already see the effects that this subject was having on people. Iwao…Tsutomu…damn it. Why did it have to be like this?

Akira struggled with what to do. Iwao? Tsutomu? Contribute? Eyes flickered from one person to the other, then to the crowd. Gh, damn it! In these situations, indecisiveness can lead to more pain. She had to make a decision.

“I searched for evidence of murder, but couldn’t find any.”

She chose to contribute to the trial. If anything, it’d get this madness over quicker and save people more pain - if that was even possible. Even then, Akira could consider the second half of this trial, if everyone agreed with what Minnie said about splitting this into two halves.

No stains on Asa’s shoes, no signs of a scuffle, no bruises on their neck…nothing. It all points to suicide. Shouldn’t there a way for us to try and game this trial system, though? There might be a loophole, if we look hard enough! If we can find one, then no one has to be pointlessly and cruelly executed.”

There has to be something like that, right? Just like how there’s no perfect crime, she wanted to believe there was no perfect rule.

Extra Movies for the Unlucky | Body 4 Reaction | CLOSED

Akira could only feel worry inside her. When Saki had been nearly killed by the electric border, she was sent into tears almost instantly. She wanted her younger sister to be alive and healthy. The Violinist wasn't technically her sister but the girl couldn't deny that she felt a family-like bond with four people in this building. Minerva, Tsutomu, Iwao and Saki.

But no one would actually kill, would they? Saki's incident was just...an accident, right? Tsutomu outed themselves to save everyone else.

Someone still killed, though. Asa was dead. Their body was in the theater for everyone to stare at in horror. Akira was one of those people. Why? Why would someone do this? She told herself not to cry and break down. Her body was tense, hands balled up into fists and legs unable to move. She was struggling both inside and outside.

(No, I c-can't cry! I'll...I'll try and use this energy to help! I-- I want...I must know why someone would kill!)

Everyone else was reacting and trying to cope in their own way. Akira had many questions and if the previous trials were any indication, they'd all be answered after this investigation was over.

Tsutomu Protection Squad ASSEMBLE | Saki+Akira+Minnie | Motive Reaction | ATTN: Everyone

The news was a shock to most, but it barely moved some. Saki’s expression didn’t change from the time the motive was announced to her current action. Silently but swiftly, despite her wince of pain, she moved in front of Tsutomu, whipped around and stared at everyone. She met eyes with everyone looking towards Tsutomu… challenging them.

“If you even think about hurting Tsutomu-niisan, you’ll have to face me. Tsutomu-niisan is no threat. Don’t even dare think about it!”

Her expression was powerful, and her arms spread out in front of Tsutomu, proving her point. She would protect Tsutomu. However she was faced with a certain superhero…

Akira herself had reacted with shock to Tsutomu’s announcement, but it disappeared quickly. She didn’t know what to think at first, her gaze never leaving the Florist. Saki’s brave display of protection though…it spurned her into action. Breaking apart from the crowd, she took a few steps closer, approaching the tiny violinist. At first, her expression was that of seriousness.

Now Playing: Courage

Before it turned into a smile. Taking her place alongside Saki, Akira turned around and face the rest, spreading her arms out wide. To the side of Akira, there was a soft mutter of ‘Akira-neesan…’ from Saki. She was staring at Akira before she looked back to the others. The Superhero’s voice rang out loudly, filled with passion.

“I won’t let anyone hurt Tsutomu either. You’ll have to break through both me and Saki-imouto. Tsutomu has been nothing but trustworthy and kind. Instead, we can use this fact to help ourselves learn more about this place! They are a true friend, that I can assure you all of.”

There was just a moment of silence. The only sound was breathing, but that was mostly Akira after her passionate speech. Thanks Akira. Saki glanced behind her to Tsutomu and then to everyone else. She felt her hands shake, and she was tearing up - here comes the tears, lord save us. But Akira wasn’t the only one who seemed to join Saki. In fact, the Charity Worker was joining the two as well. Or at least whoever was inhabiting her body at the moment. She looked to the florist with glassy eyes before a smile cracked slowly across her face, she nodded to the other two.

“I’ll protect Tsutomu-san too. Anyone who wants ta hurt someone who gave up their security on their own will ta save someone else is a chicken s***. An’ ‘ll hurt em if they try anythin’,”

It’s not like she was really the most capable of this, being a tiny little ball of fluff in a giraffe sweater. The moment she was beside the superhero and violinist, joining on the other side of Saki, the violinist dropped her arms. She was trying to wipe her tears. Looks like the girl is somehow always in tears. She turned on her heels and her arms wrapped around Tsutomu.

“We’re here, Tsutomu-niisan. Akira-neesan and Minnie-san… We’re here.”

Letting Go | Akira + Tsutomu | Chapter 4 Thread 4

...Third day. It was noon. Akira was standing inside the party room. This is where it all began. Everyone woke up to find themselves here. Daisy had arrived shortly after, greeted the twenty two students...and the rest is history. Has it been a month, now? Nearly a month of being Shining Justice Beacon.

A sigh left her lips. The girl was staring down at the mask on the table, then at the few tools besides it. A hammer, a kitchen knife and a wrench. She'd gathered those in the previous days, knowing what she wanted to do with them now. Was she ready for it, though? It'd be a quick, five minute ordeal and that was it. It almost felt...off?

Suddenly, the door opened. Akira swiveled towards it, eyes fixed on the person who had entered.

"Ah, hey Tsutomu-san."

Tender Scenery | Akira + Saki | Chapter 4 Thread 1

Now Playing: Gentle Morning

Akira's eyes flutter open. The first thing she sees is the wall of her bedroom. Groggy thoughts fill her head as her body shifts about to sit up. Yesterday was a mess. Early morning, after the trial ended...she had a talk with Iwao after the trial and then a talk with Daisy hours later. In short, Akira didn't have as much sleep as she wanted to have. In fact, an hour long nap was the only thing keeping her awake for the first day.

By now, it was late morning. The hero had flopped back onto the bed with an unimpressive 'poof'.

...

She did need to get up, didn't she? Akira sighed, wanting more sleep still. It was tough to force her out of bed when she's not had enough rest. For once, she just wanted a day where nothing bad, important or stressful was going to happen.

Akira put on the outfit she had managed to get and strolled out. A pink cardigan over a white shirt with a pink design on it. Below the waist, normal denim jeans and a pair of pink sneakers. This rocked. It truly, truly rocked.

-Pause music-

She entered the kitchen, at a leisurely pace. Saki was in there making coffee, the sight of which worried Akira. Memories of the previous motive and investigation drifted back. Legs cautiously moved, taking the tall girl a few steps closer.

"Saki-san...?"

Pink Shade | Akira Trial 3 | Execution Reaction 3/Chapter 4 Start! (Closed)

Minoru was finally gone - trampled under the feet of many, many people. At least now, she was together with Sora, right? In the afterlife, somewhere. Akira believed there was a place beyond life where dead people went. It was only fair to call that place an 'afterlife' of sorts. Did criminals go there? Yes, they did, but they always redeemed themselves.

Now Playing: Silent Aftermath

Akira let out a breath she realized she hadn't been holding in. Eyes surveyed the trial's inhabitants, now dwindled to a smaller fifteen including themselves. Was this their fate, to be killed off one by one? No. If that was destiny, the girl would destroy that herself.

...Eyes drifted down. Her costume was still being worn. It was so soft, but it was just an extra part of the body to her now. It needed to be taken off, but not here.

Akira left the trial room without saying anything. Shining Justice Beacon's helmet was in her grasp, tucked neatly underneath her right arm. Of course, Iwao would be the first person she'd talk to. He was a precious ally and friend who deserved to know a little more.

Beautiful Dead | Akira Trial 3 | Part 5 | Re: Everyone

Akira was silent after listening to the two different sides. Lots of people hated Minoru for what she did and there was no denying that the costumed girl also harbored feelings of disappointment and dislike. Yet, Saki was the voice of reason admist this dispute. She was the other, smaller side that was making more sense.

Supporting Saki's views, Akira turned her gaze to Minoru, leaning forward on the podium slightly. A firm voice, a firm look, but kind words guided her forth to the answer, little actual thought being put into what she was going to say.

"I don't forgive you, Otoishi-san, but I know that if it wasn't for the Mastermind you would have never done this! You would be living a happy life with Tsukada-san, so I want to wish you both a good time in the afterlife."

This was a lot to forgive even for the hero, but she couldn't just sit there and spew hate at Minoru.

Taking a deep breath, the seriousness in her eyes faded away, a genuine smile rising on her face. Minoru wished for death - which she would get sadly - so all Akira could do was one thing. Those that tried to bring her down needed to learn that.

"Everyone! Um--"

She was now speaking to everyone, but it felt odd. Was she trying to take charge of everyone? Akira never got that feeling when known as Shining Justice Beacon. Back then it felt natural, but now it wasn't right.

"Please...I don't want Otoishi-san's last look to be that of tears and sadness. It's the least we can do for her. If you have to hate someone, it should be whoever is forcing us to kill! I have to agree with Saki-san's reasoning, since it's what this Mastermind wants, isn't it? Hate, grief, pain and despair. They want to feed off of those feelings and laugh at us from the shadows. We should be mad at that!"
