This is my contribution to the It’s a Wonderful Life Blogathon: A 75th Anniversary Celebration hosted by The Classic Movie Muse Blog. In this video I wanted to celebrate the 75th anniversary of this dear classic by taking a look at the noir aspects or the 'noir connection' that this film has. I will be giving you my take on some its elements, the people who made it possible while I pay a little special tribute to Gloria Grahame. As always, I hope that you enjoy!

Last video dedicated to classic adventure movies is up! I was meaning to publish another one last week but life got in the way and I couldn’t. I always meant to end this April adventure month by talking about CAPTAIN BLOOD (1935) which was one of my grandmother’s favorite movies and she passed this love on to me. I am an absolute sucker for the movie pairings of Errol Flynn of Olivia de Havilland for I know of their real life affection for one another. They remain my favorite so it was a pleasure to put this video together.

Second video dedicated to the classic adventure series is up in my YouTube channel! This time we get to talk about the movie THE PRISONER OF ZENDA (1937) starring Ronald Colman, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., David Niven or Mary Astor. Based on Anthony Hope’s novel, it has been adapted for the big screen many times but, in my opinion, this is the definitive version. We get also to pay tribute to the fantastic work of cinematographer James Wong Howe. Will you miss it?

It is dedicated first to my grandmother who loved the genre and who would have turned 100 years old this April and to BEAU GESTE (1939), one of her favorites.
