PREVIOUSLY UNDISCOVERED BEATLES INTERVIEWS UP FOR AUCTION!
The biggest find was an interview from Cardiff in 1965 (probably filmed on December 12, since they had one of their two gigs there that day.) Anyone who’s familiar with the Fab Four (or at least their interviews) knows they really showed off their sense of humour. In the clip, they’re being interviewed by a very stodgy interviewer who just doesn’t get their style. Besides mugging for the camera for the whole four minutes, Ringo claims that their next film would be a western, and in this clip, John jokes about Paul having some bastards elsewhere.
And then, when the interviewer asks them why they do what they do, this happens.
And then, the second clip, just a little shorter than the first at three minutes, shot in August 1967, apparently the day prior to learning Brian Epstein died. Here’s a short clip.
