Chooeubhaokhaossian the Great's Temple of History

Looped sequence of four photographs taken in quick succession with a 4-lens stereoscopic camera of people on the transport steamer named State of Maine during the American Civil War docked in Alexandria, Virginia, on May 7, 1864. Sailors the stern and bow of the ship appear to be in the process of raising or lowering flags. The photos were taken by an unidentified photographer employed by Mathew Brady.
