Ok but imagine Nora and Iris hanging up on Barry with their combined adorableness and Barry just caves bc he’s so soft and loves his wife and daughter, like he wants to go one place for diner and iris and Nora wants to go somewhere else, and they use their big beautiful eyes and smiles and Barry becomes a puddle of feels and caves...

Barry Allen just honestly wanted to spend time with his wife. He wanted to partner with her, dance with her, solve crimes with her. He just loves her so much

never ever settle for anything less than someone who loves you so truly as barry loves iris and iris loves barry.

lets be clear: iris has always been barry’s hero. cecile said so, from the time they were kids, she was always caring, loving and looking out for him. she saved barry in more ways than most people realize, canon facts. maybe she didn’t have super powers, and maybe she wasn’t always leaping off buildings to save him, but without iris and her kindness and compassion keeping barry in check, and being there when he was young, the barry that people claim to love wouldn’t exist, 

barry and iris really out here making me believe in true love. 

i love how they are trying to make it a big mystery as to why nora is more of a daddy’s girl, its because she never got to know barry bc he died either before she was born or shortly after and she never got to know him

do you think goo goo dolls came to the future, saw how beautiful westallen was on the flash, traveled back in time and wrote iris? 

because its so completely westallen its not even funny 

i am betting the reason nora is a daddy’s girl is bc daddy is gone in the future and she never really got to know him. 

nothing to do with iris per say, but she knew he mom.

but iris and barry prove that you can have a ship be interesting, have conflicts that create some drama, but show that they are stronger for it. like a real healthy relationship. 

iris and barry are so important to the young viewers who aren’t dating yet and are only used to seeing crazy drama and unhealthy relationships that are used to being pushed through media for “ratings” 

barry had one last person he could’ve talked to, and he chose iris. his life was ending as far as he knew, and all he wanted was one last moment with iris 

he didn’t even think that iris would save the day, he just wanted one moment more with her. 

and then of course, iris proves why not only is she his one true love, and his lightning rod, but once again, proving that she’s the flashes hero. 

sorry i’m still emotional about this 

every episode i am so proud to be a westallen fan.  for a fictional couple, they promote everything a real healthy couple should have. honesty, communication, love, trust, worry, accountability, hope.

whether you ship westallen or not, do not settle for anything less than that. its real relationship. 

whenever i am feeling sad i just remember bartholomew henry allen married the love of his life iris ann west and i just remember how beautiful life is 

its 2k17 and westallen is married. can people stop saying its a fanservice?

you know what it is. its a fanservice to the fans of westallen from the show, its a fan service to people who read the comics, or watched animated versions of barry!flash and loved westallen 

that’s 3 groups of fans. any other ship would just service one fan group. the ones that watch the show. if anything that would be a fanservice
