Meet Chronova! I made this funky little dude for the Science Pokémon Challenge @n0rtist is holding. It evolves from Cosmoem, and concept behind it is called Gravitational Time Dilation. It's where heavy objects such as planets will distort time around them due to their gravitational field!
When I chose the concept, I had to think of heavy Pokémon that were heavy or physically dense. Not only is Cosmoem one of the heaviest Pokémon already at 2204.4 lbs. / 999.9 kg, but it's also theorized to be a inspired by black holes. So why not have it evolve into something that naturally "evolves" from black holes? Like a quasar! Quasars form when a supermassive black hole has enough material around it to fall into its accretion disc, allowing it to generate the energy that powers it!
