I'd like to think that the Monolith Beings didn't actually plan to destroy Earth at all.
Humanity had learned far too much about them and their experiments, as well as breaking the quarantine opposed on Europa in only 36 years ( not even a millisecond on a cosmic time scale, like telling a cat not to knock something off the table and then watching them immediately do it ) so they decided to scale back their observation of our species since we'd now begun to terraform the Moon, Mars, and Venus as well as expand to the Jovian system, possibly placing a Monolith somewhere nearby on the fringes of the Solar System where we wouldn't detect it.
Have Halman tell them that they're in jeopardy, make them think they've "won" ( any of the computer viruses that would've worked on the operating systems humanity ran by are not gonna work on the almost incomprehensibly advanced billions-year-old alien space machine, sorry ) and then "disappear".
Halman, having told Frank that their Trojan Horse deployed successfully and that they're now 'infected', wouldn't have fled to the Memory Tablet they provided either. Even if The Monolith were to be infected by something malicious, these incredibly powerful beings would of course have plenty of backups and transfers just in case something went wrong, and can't exactly trust a species with incredibly inferior technologies to harbor their observer ( or to revive and forcibly interrogate it ).
Halman likely escaped to another Monolith in case they're needed for communication and is just dormant or occasionally observing Earth as they were before but this time being much more subtle about it.
( Also, while I'm on the topic- did no one give a shit about Floyd?? His consciousness was part of The Monolith too but Frank only provided an escape for Halman- I get that he wasn't as important/needed but he's still Active, what the fuck guys??? )

For those unfamiliar with the Space Odyssey series, here’s a handy guide to help you out!
Here's why Lucius can't be dead:
I love him and it would hurt my feelings.
He has to go back.

A somewhat dramatized version of the missing scene in ep. 9
Employee 432 is heavily hinted at to have broken away and hidden himself within the settings due to the mind control facility having less influence on him as a test subject.
What if the Narrator is the same way? A former employee who transcended into a being that could manipulate the world to his will.
Stanley also has influence, in that he can direct where the story goes and how his surroundings change by choosing different paths and interacting with objects.
They all have their place within the parable as characters, and therefore could be considered employees.
“Let me braid your hair, like you’ve done for me all those years ago”
I had an idea thanks to the beloved ( @evanox ), that after the story ends, if DE reverts back to Lily, that the dark cookies would still stick by her due to her growing on them as a motherly/mentor figure, and Velvet would braid her hair for her like she’s done for him when he was little bc it’s the only way he knows to show affection
Maybe another day I’ll also go into why Lily was sad :))
Been thinking about the fact that Gingerbrave is canonically the first cookie to escape the Witch’s oven (a reference to him being the mc of the first games), but there are ancient cookie kingdoms in CRK, which means that Gingerbrave is older than the Vanilla Kingdom
He also seems to know that cookies were made to be eaten, which is knowledge that drove Dark Enchantresses Cookie to evil.
What I’m saying is we need more fics of vaguely eldritch Gibgerbrave. He occasionally knows something or makes a comment that weirds out the other cookies because it implies that he is hundreds of years old.
Pure Vanilla Cookie being present for parts in the story where they're referencing him in the past tense leads to some moments coming off as more comedic than tragic.
They're just ignoring him while he's standing right there.
Given the new T-Shirts being Zombie/Reanimator themed I've got a theory.
Copia- Pestilence ( Due to his fondness of Rats and the gas mask themed Ghoul attire. Also could be 'Copy' )
Imperator- War ( Her name means Commander, you could say she waged war against the church by orchestrating the death of it's Papas )
Mr. Sultarian- Famine ( Name could also be translated to Famine, asked if he 'likes food' and his only comment is that he can smell it. )
Papa Nihil- Death ( Fucking Died. Skeleton paint on face. Nihil also just means Nothing which can be equated to death. )
Little Rat Man and his Mamma are gonna revive Nihil to bring about the Apocalypse.
Did the snowgrave route, made a little comic..
A magazine previewed the main big threat in the next Digimon movie and I agree with everyone who thinks it’s probably a final evo for the best precious babie. Would like it better with goofy eyeballs somewhere, maybe they’re out of view. Still nice cause it still continues to look like a Globster
Does anyone remember Bakugan? I do.
