Prototype Emblem for 1967 AMC Rebel Rambler Westerner Stationwagon (bidder60064 on eBay)
“I have strong reason to believe this is one of four in existence. The prototype features “RAD” (research and development) on the reverse instead of cast manufac. and part numbers. The actual production part did have a slightly different design. The 1967 AMC Rebel Rambler Stationwagon was sold in several trim packages. Only 500 production WESTERNERs were made. Currently, it is believed only one complete example exists.”
