When I first moved to downtown Portland, I traded a pack of Camels for a small stack of 45 records some bum had stolen. I was stoned on the marijuana and sitting on the brick wall by the art museum waiting for the 57 bus to take me to work. I scored this jam and a sweet Tommy James record and some Joanie Mitchell or Joan Baez Drive Old Dixie Down whiney old woman shit that I left on the bus so maybe some hippie could enjoy that

About half the time when I put on an old movie, I reach the point where I realize I've seen it already. It's amazing how many movies I've seen throughout my life that I basically only remember one scene from.

I put Dr. Alien on tonight even though I was sure I've seen it, but I'm over an hour into it and haven't had that moment yet. And I think I'd remember Billy Jayne delivering a banger like this.
