The pure fucking ANGUISH on Ichigo's face remembering the last moment he thought he'd ever see Rukia,,,the GRIEF as if she died when she's actually fine but just can't see him anymore,,,,bro needs her in his life, he can't be satisfied with anything less,,,,

Yeah ofc he misses his powers for more reasons than Rukia disappearing, but the sorrow he felt from her absence was the catalyst for finally activating his fullbring,,,

Ichigo crying sobbing throwing up on the inside after she leaves while Rukia is just chillin in SS is so heiwiwjrfjshsjwj,,, lover boy relax she's doing fine,,,,pathetic (affectionate),,,

you are not a machine. you are more like a garden. you need different things on different days. a little sun today, a little less water tomorrow. you have fallow and fruitful seasons. it is not a design flaw. it is wiser than perpetual sameness. what does your garden need today?

unpopular opinion of the day is I think S1-S3 Dean gets way too much hate from the fandom and I actually feel bad for him during the whole Rory and Jess buildup thing.

Can you imagine turning around and seeing the person you're in a relationship with, the person you're so madly in love with, flirtatiously locking eyes with someone else? You can literally feel that sinking stomach feeling Dean has in that scene at the inn where he sees Rory and Jess making lil googly eyes at each other. If the roles had been reversed and it was Rory who noticed Dean stealing glances at another girl, we'd all dogpile him and feel bad for Rory.

The basket scene makes me so mad too, like that's so humiliating, he literally can't afford to buy his own girlfriend's basket because some cheeky bad boy (don't get me wrong I like Jess but in this scene he's an ass) publicly outbid him just to watch him squirm. As someone who didn't grow up with a lot of money that scene always bothered me. A decent person who actually cared about her boyfriend's feelings would have either not gone with Jess OR, if she was a stickler for tradition, she would have invited Dean along, OR had a quick, polite lunch with Jess and then call Dean to make sure they were cool. Like there were so many other ways to go about it and she ended up spending the whole day with Jess.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being interested in someone else, it's not like Dean and Rory are married, but she should have just broken up with him instead of spending a whole season gaslighting him and pretending she wasn't interested even though she made it so embarrassingly obvious.

I do think Jess and Rory are right for each other, but I think their buildup is so icky bc it really drags Dean through the mud so unnecessarily

Today I cried a little bit because I remembered that when Beethoven conducted his ninth symphony for the first time he got a standing ovation and one of the sopranos had to turn him around to see the audience.

I have never recovered from this illustration by Scott Cameron for Barbara Nichol’s “Beethoven Lives Upstairs.”
