Because I love endings and beginnings and making lists!! I love the concept of starting the year by partying I love the drama of kissing someone at midnight I love the one time of the year when it is cold I love starting a new calendar and I love cheering for no reason
Whether or not you keep a new year's resolution is almost not the point of a new year's resolution. A new year's resolution is just a promise to yourself that you care enough about your life to try something new. it doesn't like actually matter if you wind up running every week

as someone working in HR - this is actually soooo far from okay and i hope they realize that the only right thing to do is to let him go (or not renew his contract - so easy!) and i'm so sorry this is happening to you, it's the worst to feel angry or uneasy at work and feel like there's nothing you can do 🫂
Thank you :( luckily everyone at my store is on my side and very much so like steps between us so I don’t feel uncomfortable. They’re very accommodating and even gave me a paid Saturday off. There was a complicated matter involving like another employee so corporate didn’t think they could fire him without retaliation but I think NOW they have real true reason and have reached out to the corporate level to end the contract!!
Mostly just upsetting because I still find it in me to show basic decency and the level of hate he has for me is really disturbing !

After the big HR meeting where my co worker said I “contracted” a UTI and that he reported me to HR out of spite because I had reported him, I’ve learned they are discussing renewing his contract. Which feels amazing. The way that men can admit outright to a fireable offense, openly resent you, purposefully speak disrespectfully to you in front of your bosses and then be rewarded for it.
Not to keep hashing this out but they discovered today that this guy actually went into my email and searched his name to read my HR reports!!!!!!!!!!! Like genuinely strange and obsessive behavior happening.
