Hey so u know episode 28 (ik, a long time ago) when ben’s like “u dont get it!!” And sammy’s like “ur right! I dont get it! I dont know what its like to have someone ripped from me live on the air and begging for help!”

Uh hey have u considered what if that was sarcasm and he does understand what its like

But like….. what caused Sammy’s “breakdown” on New Years? The New Years before he said the same thing: “new year, new you,” which I understand is a totally common phrase, but what led him to the point Lily referred to? Was he really going to quit? After years in King Falls why was he suddenly so upset? In this past Christmas episode when he shared the tape with Ben he was so happy for him but now I’m wondering if he meant it simply as a goodbye? I’m not sure.

Basically what I’m trying to get at is that in 66 Lily says Sammy didn’t leave Shotgun Saturday Nights until MONTHS after Jack had disappeared. Did Jack disappear around New Years and that’s what made Sammy so…. idk vulnerable? Broken? Because he showed up in KF in May…..

Idk just some ramblings. Please respond if you have theories because I am d e s p e r a t e

Do you ever just think about King Falls AM, a show that’s so much about love that there are over seven minutes of “I love you’s”? Where the foundation of the show is between how much Sammy and Ben care about each other, how much the town cares about them, how you can’t separate them from King Falls or from each other because above all else this is a show about people? People who are messy and human and real, who make mistakes and do better and grow, who, above everything else, care? It’s about determination and friendship and forgiveness and strength and home being the people we choose and making the active decision to care and holding tight to those around you and-

All of this is a long winded way to say that King Falls AM is a show about love in a thousand different ways, and I think that’s pretty neat
