I don’t know what I was expecting from the Man Wakes Up With Demon In His Brain Podcast, but it wasn’t for the demon to talk the man out of killing an innocent bystander in episode 1. It took Arthur about 15 minutes to adjust to his circumstances and advocate for violence that even the threatening voice in his head thinks is extreme.
if malevolent was like 10% less serious arthur would just close his eyes whenever he and john were having a divorce arc
“ i have hands for building altars, lips to pray to reckless gods, i was made to be a devotee “
my turn to jump on this trend!! which one is the devotee is the real question (it’s both)
I feel like if Arthur had like an air pod in his ear would have decreased the “what the actual heck is this guy talking to???” Factor from other people
Hey, Arthur's body parts, how many of you are there? Can we Build-A-Bear our man from you or what?
Describing migraine symptoms sounds made-up to anybody whose never had one. “Oh it’s a headache so evil that it makes me blind.” Girl what are we talking about.
Actually his name is John Doe now
roped my friend into listening to malevolent >:]
HURT
Has anyone made this connection yet
i started malevolent recently :D
part 24 is so funny “omg John i missed you so much the power of our friendship brought you back to me I was so lost without you” and they start arguing five minutes later
I’m unwell I’m unwell I’m unwell I’m unw
A theme I find interesting that a lot of Noir Lovecraftian style protagonists have is Doing Everything Right Only To Still Fail In The End. Not Arthur Lester tho. He did. He did Fucking everything wrong.
thinking once again about that one youtube comment that’s like “why do people ship jarthur john is so toxic” and i get where they’re coming from but that is Not a john specific issue
