hello there! can i ask you what app do you use to draw and what are your favorite brushes if it’s not too much trouble? :D
i used photoshop for a long time. official CC and cracked versions but things got to pricy or kept braking so i switched to Clip Studio Paint. Its a good program all in all i like it but it takes some time getting used to everything. i have this post about what brush i like to use and how LINK but so far i couldn't manage to recreate it in CSP yet and the settings are still a bit to new to me. but i like the SOL brush so far the most. probably uhm... idk just for understanding. i use an intuous 4 tablet. its like... old but works like one the first day. so nothing fancy with a screen in it or something.
#chip!ask#not to mention that my GT pen was a bit... well not broken but flimsy over years of use#like i lost the spring that makes the erase bounce back#and i think besides making the eraser that i barly use functional#the spring also created some sort of tension#now photoshop brushes are not as sensitive like CSP brushes#as long you don't use the fancy 3D angle simulation ones you are mostly fine#and so i got just used to work with my flimsy unstable brush. but...#THATS NOT HOW CSP WORKS#and after like... month of stuggeling and getting anyoed with everything and considering to cave in and just... pay for PS i just...#showed a peace of paper in the eraser cap from my pen#and now the right tension is back#and there is little to no struggle in line flow for now???#honestly this is probably not really funny to you but my irl people are having a crack out of it becuase...#'shove a peace of paper in it and now it works' is my go to solution to quiet a few technically problems when something is lose and flimsy#TBF i have to be proven wrong!!!
