24 how do you deal with art block?

usually take some rest. though right now art is my job so i have no time to rest, i just pull my shit together and suffer through this...

but there was one time a few years ago. i had the greatest block in my life, and i decided to just. stop drawing at all, ever. i said, "from now on i'm not an artist anymore, i'm just a dude".

and 5 minutes later i saw aizawa from bnha and thought "hmmmm but what if i beat the shit outta him and make him bleed everywhere and pull out his guts and make him eat them, wouldn't that be super hot&sexy", and proceeded to draw 10 sketches in 1 day and like 300 finished colored arts in a month. and then never posted it :D so i'd say, embrace your deepest kinks and desires, draw only for yourself and only what you want, and don't care about people's opinions, best don't even post it. the best art i ever make is one i never post.

and when art is your job, drawing sometimes for yourself is a must. otherwise you'll go insane very quickly
