I'll never understand how studios who want to copy the MCU never bother taking notes as to how it works. Zag is a bit better then other studios that have attempted it but it still has issues. Though I'll admit the power of the Eagle Miraculous is quite clever. And yeah, the love square is frustrating. Like, this show would be 90% better if they would have resolved the romance by now or reworked the love square. For a show that wants to write a romance story, its pretty bad at it.
It feels like the writers sucks at writing romance but they have to do it anyway.
They shove too much stuff in the show and they don’t know how to weave them properly. And I’m not gonna be surprised if they will pull a time dimensional plot at the end of the season to defend their plot inconsistencies.
So I didn't know about the eagle miraculous until I watched the NYC special and when it was revealed there were even more miraculous at the end, I groaned. I am tired of this show introducing more Miraculous. Like there being 7 miraculous would have been perfect since, you know, lucky number which matches Ladybug, Then it was revealed there were even more based off the Zodiac which, okay, pretty cool, but now there's even MORE miraculous and I wish they would stop making more miraculous.
Zag wanted to create an expanded universe in ML, like MCU, so they need to create more Miraculouses to keep the franchise alive
After NYC Special, I’m ready to move on from the Love Square drama. Romance isn’t the main reason why I watched ML in the first place but the action, and if Zag can create a ML spin-off series focusing on Jess and Aeon then I’m going to 100% support it!
Miraculous: Tales of Sparrow and Uncanny Valley sounds very appealing to me
