“let’s start with the basic, shall we? why did you become a photographer? to most people, it’s a pretty risky choice of career especially because you also have a law degree.” “i’ve always loved taking photos since i was young, but it was taehyung who actually pushed me to pursue my dream. he believed in me, so i believed in him. that degree was never for me, but a gift for two most important people in my life, my parents.” “i heard your parents were against your dream so what did you do to change their mind? it must have been hard.” ”they were, but they warmed up to it eventually. it was indeed hard, but i had taehyung by my side through everything.” “okay, what is kim taehyung to you then? he talks about you in interviews a lot, so i’m pretty sure it’d be interesting to hear your side of story.” ”i’ve mentioned this before, and i’m going to say it again, he’s someone that i’d like to spend the rest of my life with. there was a time when i accidentally asked him to be my muse instead of model, but truthfully, i was being honest. he was, and still is, my muse. he gave me so much support and told me that everything’s going to be alright, that it is okay for me to chase after my dream too.”  “people wonder why kim taehyung always looks the best in your photos. is it because you’ve known him for so long that you’re able to capture his best moments perfectly?” ”i don’t think there’s such thing as best moments when it comes to taehyung, every single moment of him will always be the best. it’s true that i’ve known him since the time when he would make weird poses and expressions, but even then, he was already perfect in my eyes. he felt bad about it because he thought he was slowing me down, but he wasn’t, really. in fact, seeing him so flustered was truly endearing because he’s usually overflowing with confidence. in the end, i had to talk about the new chapters of one piece until he was able to relax. honestly, back then, i wanted to tell him that all he needs to do is look at my camera and smile, but i thought it would be too embarrassing.” (continuation of this taekook edit: a look into jungkook’s website and interview a few years later.)
