Things get cold in this episode of the J&K Fun Hour as Justin Houston and Kevin Ford discuss CHIKARA’s weekend of shows in Canada! In addition to running both cards in detail, they discuss Brodie Lee potentially heading to WWE, CHIKARA’s second iPPV and their enjoyment and displeasure with the invasion angle. Justin seems more punchy than usual and Kevin makes TWO sports references. I guess Canada truly is bizarro world. Enjoy the show!

The Shard and 17 aren't the only invaders getting play in Canada this weekend. The three imposter ants (assailANT, deviANT & combatANT) will do battle with the real Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant & Green Ant) at "It's How You Play The Game" in Ottawa, ONT on Sunday March 25th. Obviously, this group of invaders is specifically targeting the Colony. combatANT said he wants to show the world who The Colony really is. But why? Who are these hooded jagaloons and what is their problem with CHIKARA? Hopefully we'll get some answers over the weekend. The real question is, who will be left laying when the dust settles? Will we see a Colony member unmasked? Will the faux ants reveal their true identities?
The Spectral Envoy (@UltraMantis Black & Hallowicked) vs. 17 & The Shard will take place at "It's How You Play The Game" in Ottawa. With 17, The Shard and the rest of their masked compatriots looking to tear down the infrastructure of CHIKARA, it's not just those directly attacked who want them gone. Mantis and Hallowicked, both graduates of the first ever CHIKARA Wrestle Factory class back in 2002. There's no way they would let a group like this run roughshod without getting involved. Although it's not as important as ridding CHIKARA of these masked fellows, Mantis and Hallowicked could be coming into the match with some points from the previous evening. Those could all be washed away if 17 and The Shard have their way. Which team will prevail?
Gran Akuma (__AKUMA) vs. Gregory Iron (@gregoryiron) is the next step in Akuma's trial series, and will take place at "It's How You Play The Game". Icarus chose Iron to be his Akuma's next opponent in the series based on Iron's actions towards Akuma at "The Thirteenth Hat". You may recall that at "High Noon" Akuma unintentionally gave Iron a swift kick in the head which did not sit well with the Handicapped Hero. Iron not only has the chance for retribution, but the chance to box out Akuma's re-entry into CHIKARA. Akuma is one trial series match down with defeating Chuck Taylor last month. Can he go two in a row? Can Iron pull off the upset?

This will be a test to see who the true fan favorite is - Archibald Peck vs. Chuck Taylor takes place in Ottawa, ONT at "It's Home You Play The Game". Yes, both of these men are Rudos, but there is no denying that as dastardly as these two can be, they are also overwhelmingly entertaining at times. Peck has had some challenges the past few months with very few wins coming his way. Taylor may be one of his toughest challenges yet, as he is currently one half of the Campeones de Parejas (though that could change by the time the match takes place) and a previous Rey de Voladores, King of Trios, and Young Lions Cup tournament winner. A win over Taylor could be a jump in the right direction for the Band Leader. Can he come through? Or will the Kentucky Gentlemen give Peck a maple syrup covered Awful Waffle to beat him in his homeland?
Sara Del Rey (@SaraDelRey) will meet one of Canada's finest female athletes, Leah VonDutch (@LeahVonDutch) at "It's How You Play The Game" in Ottawa, Ontario. In case you have never heard of Leah before, she was actually endorsed by Edge to join Square Circle Wrestling as a trainee a few months ago. Since then, Leah has gone on to wrestle for other companies such as CLASH Wrestling out of Michigan. Leah will now get the opportunity to wrestle one of the top female wrestlers in the world on her home turf. Sara's been on an absolute tear since winning the Cibernetico with seemingly no end in site. Could Ms. VonDutch be the one to put a stop to her winning streak? Will Sara put Squared Circle Wrestling's rising star in her place?
Brodie Lee (@BrodieLee93) will be the second man to challenge Eddie Kingston (@CHIKARAKingston) for the Grand Championship at "It's How You Play The Game" on March 25th in Ottawa, Ontario. Brodie Lee had his chance to compete in the "12 Large: Summit" derailed when an injury suffered during Dragon Gate USA's June tripleshot forced him to forfeit the rest of his matches. He had already faced Vin Gerard (and lost) but ended up giving free victories to UltraMantis Black, Jigsaw, Fire Ant, and yes, Eddie Kingston. Since returning to CHIKARA in December, Brodie has made it his goal to claim victories over those who he forfeited to. So far he has done so successfully against UltraMantis Black and Jigsaw. He faces Fire Ant on the 24th in Vaughan, Ontario at "Green Ice" right before taking on Kingston for the gold. If Brodie wins both of his matches in Canada, his 12 Large record will match Kingston's. Will Brodie be able to do so? Will Kingston be too worn down with his match against Ophidian the night before to put up a good enough fight? Will he walk out with the title against his former Roughneck comrade?
