The final match for “Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes” has been set! At the “Hour of Power” this past Saturday, Merlok and Oceanea not only halted the Campeones de Parejas hopes and dreams of Sylverhawk and Razerhawk, but Merlok gave Sylverhawk three Emerald Flowsions after the match. The Xyberhawk 2000 Twitter makes it sound like he may not return.

However, Razerhawk also accrued two points with the third member of the X2K, and they will go for point number three this Saturday! The Beach Bums return from National Pro Wrestling Day, hoping to make the most of their second chance to make a first impression. Will they also dash the Xyberhawx championship hopes and dreams, or will we have new challengers for the gold at the end of the night?

Another Tag World Grand Prix qualifying match has been added to National Pro Wrestling Day on February 17th! The Xyberhawx 2000 of Sylverhawk and Razerhawk, who are just one victory away from a Campeonatos de Parejas opportunity, will be facing the debuting duo of “Bad Girl” Penelope Ford and “Bad Boy” Joey Janela! Janelope has been making waves as a team in Beyond Wrestling and sister promotion Women’s Wrestling Revolution where they are currently undefeated. Janela himself is the current AIW Intense Champion and a four time former CZW Wired Champion, and has been heralded as one of the craziest performers in professional wrestling today. Given the big Beyond Wrestling/CHIKARA Clan Feuds event in July, who knows if Janelope will be looking to start the issue early come NPWD. 

Will the X2K get their third point before even entering the tournament, or will Janelope steal their spotlight in their CHIKARA debut?

The issues between the Xyberhawx 2000 (Sylverhawk & Razerhawk) and the Crustaceans (Hermit Crab & Cajun Crawdad) all started at Aniversario: School Reunion, when the X2K defeated Crab and Crawdad in the final fall of a four corner elimination match. Losses are always tough, but in this particular case, the X2K robbed Crab and Crawdad at a future Campeones de Parejas opportunity. The next month, Crab would win the Young Lions Cup from Sylverhawk. The month after that, Razerhawk would win the cup from Hermit Crab. Crab and Crawdad would get revenge from Aniversario at “Tooth and Claw” when in another elimination match, Crab and Crawdad robbed the X2K of their third point and their own title opportunity. After Sylverhawk defeated Hermit Crab at the Hour of Power in October, Hermit Crab issued a regulation tag team match between the pairs in Chicago. In a hard fought contest, Crab and Crawdad found themselves victorious. The latest installment of this rivalry was a trios match where Merlok and Nytehawk joined the respective teams. Nytehawk found himself not only pinned, but out of action indefinitely.

All of this comes to ahead on December 2nd when Sylverhawk and Razerhawk will face Hermit Crab and Cajun Crawdad once again in a tag team match. Like the first time these teams met, Crab and Crawdad will leave the match with 3 points if they’re victorious. X2K would love to knock their rivals off the board while ending the season on a high note. Which of these teams will be successful in Philadelphia?

Missile Assault Man and Hallowicked could both potentially be going for their third point when they face each other one-on-one. Could either man be leaving Enfield with a Grand Championship opportunity?

Finally, The Furies of Fire Ant, Solo Darling, and Travis Huckabee face Jeremy Leary, Rory Gulak, and Sloan Caprice. The last time Fire Ant was in Trios action, he put Frightmare out of action indefinitely. We’ll see if the odd trio will be able to work against the well oiled machine of former Campeones.

Defeating the former Campeones de Parejas could be just what they need to course correct, but the dirty businessman sure won’t make it easy. In his second defense, Sylverhawk will put the Young Lions Cup on the line against Cajun Crawdad. Crawdad has been a formidable opponent for the Sylverhawx before, and had his best showing in singles competition against former Young Lions Cup champion Mark Angelosetti. Will he prove to be “too salty” for the very fly champion, or will Sylverhawk leave the New Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium with the Cup still in hand?

Sylverhawk shocked the CHIKARMY on Sunday when he won the Young Lions Cup from Wani in Wani’s first defense at the Hour of Power. Sylverhawk’s won’t get to spend much time celebrating, as he’ll be defending the Cup for the first time this Saturday at “Hide” against one-half of the current Campeones de Parejas, Cornelius Crummels.  Crummels pinned Sylverhawk’s partner, Razerhawk, in the Young Lions Cup tournament at “National Pro Wrestling Day 2017.” Can Crummels put away his partner in his first YLC defense, or will Sylverhawk do what Space Monkey and Wani couldn’t and get past his first defense with Cup in tow?
