8/31/2012: It's been almost 2 weeks now since CHIKARA hit the midwest. Over that time, I've been doing a lot of thinking. Yet I still don't have the answer to the same question I keep asking myself. Mike - what's your deal, man?

What was that Indianapolis freak out by you all about? I get it, you don't like the GEKIDO. I'm not their biggest fan either. But come on man! What you did was reckless. You had such a one track mind that day that your reckless actions put me in danger. My knee was a mess, what did you think jumping on 17 while I have him stretched across my back was gonna do? I'll tell you what it did. It caused my knee to buckle right out from under me. It's just now feeling normal again. Then you leave the ring to chase down 17. While I'm busy yelling at you to focus on the task at hand, I'm wide open to have The Shard attack my knee.

And let's not forget when you completely snapped and hit ALL 4 QUACKENDRIVERS on 17...all four. In a row. No PIN! NO NOTHING!! And now NO POINTS!!! Come on, man. That's not you. That's not what you're about.

Look, King of Trios is just a few weeks away. You need to get your head in the game. We have The Swarm in the opening round. Last thing we need is for you to see the GEKIDO guys and get that tunnel vision again. I'm about winning! If I had to take a guess, I'd bet Manami Toyota - someone we've studied and idolized - isn't sitting on a 16-hour flight to Easton to lose in the opening round because of a personal vendetta.

Whatever that was last week...I hope you got it out of your system. Because We have a tournament to win!

Our second first round King of Trios match sees Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw & Manami Toyota take on the Wink Vavasseur created Swarm of Soldier Ant, deviANT & combatANT. Even though Wink insisted with a few matches together that this new Swarm would work out, thanks to deliberate sabotage from Soldier Ant, they have lost all four matches they have had as a unit. Soldier Ant wants nothing to do with them, and it would be a surprise if he came around for King of Trios. Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Toyota however get along just fine. This will be their second King of Trios as a team, making it to the quarter-finals last year where they lost to a Michinoku Pro team. Lest we forget that Quackenbush and Jigsaw won the inaugural King of Trios in 2007. Soldier Ant won last years King of Trios tournament with Colony partners Fire Ant and Green Ant. Even with that factoid, it would be quite surprising to see him, deviANT and combatANT make it past this round. Could it happen, or will this be a cake walk from Joshi and the Luchadores?

Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Manami Toyota are the 9th entered into this years King of Trios tournament. This will be the second year "Joshi & The Luchadores" (unofficial name, patent pending with Justin Houston) have entered the tournament. Last year, they fell to the Michinoku Pro team in the second round. There's no denying the collective talent these three individuals present, and just by their sheer ability and accolades they are odds on favorites to take the whole thing. But will they?
