The CHIKARA Special

Last year, the Nations made it to the finals of King of Trios, defeating the Xyberhawx 2000, The Nexus Alliance, and Tokyo Joshi Pro before falling to the Colony in the finals. This year, they’re back with the mission to win the whole thing. Their opponents see Lucas Calhoun and Missile Assault Man returning to tournament action after a multi-year absence, and Stray Kat making her first tournament appearance. Calhoun and Kat have been quite a successful duo of late, and Calhoun and Missile Assault Man were a successful tandem in the past, but how will they fare as a trio against a team who was so close to tournament glory?

Last year, the Austrlian triumvirate of Jack Bonza, Adam Hoffman, and Mick Moretti made it to the finals of the King of Trios tournament, defeating the Xyberhawx 2000, The Ohnaka Gang, and the Joshi Pro teams before losing to the Colony at the conclusion of Night 3. This year, the Four Nations return to the tournament with a chip on their shoulder and the mission to complete their task of becoming Kings of Trios. Will 2019 be the year Moretti, Bonza, and Hoffman conquer?

King of Trios 2018: Ancient Order of the Nations invade!

The 14th team entered into this year’s King of Trios is the all Aussie Ancient Order of the Nations! Mick Moretti, Adam Hoffman, and Jack Bonza in Australia are apart of the massive “Four Nations” faction which also includes Madison Eagles, Madison Eagles, Jessica Troy, who comprise another trio in this year’s tournament, as well as 2011 King of Trios tournament participant Tama Williams.

Mick Moretti participated in several CHIKARA matches last Spring/Summer and still holds two points with victories over Race Jaxon and Jessica Troy. Jack Bonza competed in a four way tag team match back in Season 11 with QT Marshall as his partner. Adam Hoffman will be making his CHIKARA debut on this weekend and it will be his first match on U.S. soil in over 9 years. Will this Aussie triumvirate be able to take home the Trios crown to the Southern Hemisphere when all is said and done?

The team of Jack Bonza (@jackbonza) and QT Marshall (@realqtmarshall) have entered the four team elimination match at "I'll Be A Mummy's Uncle." Bonza is an Australian native while Marshall resides in New Jersey. These two met as a team in the main event of the third "Wrestling is Fun!" event just a few weeks ago. They will now make their CHIKARA debuts in the hopes of making an impact and perhaps even earn a shot at Los Campeonatos de Parejas. We'll have to see what these two have in store on April 14th.
