Meanwhile, the Whisper is coming off a singles victory against Penelope Ford and is one of the more powerful members of the Crucible at this time. Which former Cup holder will emerge victorious?

Interestingly enough, Hallowicked is in the midst of a rivalry with Calhoun’s former Battleborn tag team partner Missile Assault Man, and he and Calhoun last crossed paths in Trios action last Summer where Calhoun and company were victorious. Who will emerge with points in tact in this first time ever singles encounter?

In the darkness and dampness of the Clipper Magazine Stadium in Reading, PA, Mike Quackenbush defeated Travis Huckabee in just 54 seconds. To add insult to injury, this was a first round match in the Johnny Kidd Invitational, meaning Huckabee went from winning the previous years tournament to losing in the first round of the next years in under a minute. Huckabee insists the win was a fluke, and given the conditions of their environment that night, Quackenbush actually agreed. With that, these two will meet yet again on September 6th, each man eager to prove a point.

The night before this year’s Chikarasaurus Rex, CHIKARA will hold a unique event in Mount Holly, NJ. The event titled “Earning The Lucha Libre Merit Badge” sees its proceeds benefiting the Scouts BSA Camping Program. This event will see Molly McCoy in her first ever singles CHIKARA bout taking on a former Infinite Gauntlet winner and Campeon de Pareja, Solo Darling! Darling’s CHIKARA record is quite impressive, including a recent win over the current Young Lions Cup champion, but before that lost back-to-back singles match against Icarus and Ophidian. McCoy will look to jump start her CHIKARA career while Darling looks to course correct hers on September 6th at this special show!
