Last month, the Grand Champion and a wrestler who used to be a little UnStable made a surprise appearance on Smackdown Live! Last night, it was time for somebody a bit more “amazing” (and the inaugural Johnny Kidd Invitational winner) to do the same.

Things get cold in this episode of the J&K Fun Hour as Justin Houston and Kevin Ford discuss CHIKARA’s weekend of shows in Canada! In addition to running both cards in detail, they discuss Brodie Lee potentially heading to WWE, CHIKARA’s second iPPV and their enjoyment and displeasure with the invasion angle. Justin seems more punchy than usual and Kevin makes TWO sports references. I guess Canada truly is bizarro world. Enjoy the show!

Brodie Lee (@BrodieLee93) will be the second man to challenge Eddie Kingston (@CHIKARAKingston) for the Grand Championship at "It's How You Play The Game" on March 25th in Ottawa, Ontario. Brodie Lee had his chance to compete in the "12 Large: Summit" derailed when an injury suffered during Dragon Gate USA's June tripleshot forced him to forfeit the rest of his matches. He had already faced Vin Gerard (and lost) but ended up giving free victories to UltraMantis Black, Jigsaw, Fire Ant, and yes, Eddie Kingston. Since returning to CHIKARA in December, Brodie has made it his goal to claim victories over those who he forfeited to. So far he has done so successfully against UltraMantis Black and Jigsaw. He faces Fire Ant on the 24th in Vaughan, Ontario at "Green Ice" right before taking on Kingston for the gold. If Brodie wins both of his matches in Canada, his 12 Large record will match Kingston's. Will Brodie be able to do so? Will Kingston be too worn down with his match against Ophidian the night before to put up a good enough fight? Will he walk out with the title against his former Roughneck comrade?
Brodie Lee (@BrodieLee93) vs. Fire Ant (@TheFireAnt) is the newest match signed for "Green Ice" in Vaughan, ONT. Just this past weekend, Brodie successfully defeated Jigsaw, who along with UltraMantis Black (whom he also beat) he was supposed to meet in the 12 Large: Summit. After defeating Jigsaw, Brodie made his intentions clear: he wants to face Kingston for the Grand Championship in Canada. Brodie and Kingston were also supposed to the meet in the Summit. So were Brodie and Fire Ant, which is this why this match is taking place. If Brodie gets his title shot the next night in Ottawa, Fire Ant will be his last stop on the road to the title. Will Lee clean sweep his 12 Large retention bouts, or will Fire Ant be the road block in the Big Rig's path?
Jigsaw blog, 2.22.2012
2/22/2012: The 12 Large: Summit has come and gone. But I remember the announcement of the blocks very well. I was pretty excited when they were revealed. Going up against good friends like Eddie Kingston and Fire Ant. A first-time ever singles against another Gen 1 original: UltraMantis Black. Couldn't care less for Vin Gerard, to be honest. But a singles match with Brodie Lee...now that's something I was really looking forward to.
Y'see, Brodie is a man who I look at like a challenge. I've never taken the easy way out. I'd like to think that the CHIKARMY knows that when they see a Jigsaw match, they know they're getting my all. Not just that, but one of the best, one of the most exciting bouts on a CHIKARA card. Brodie and I are certainly capable of just that. A first-time ever match that will leave the fans wanting more.

I'm no fool. I know Brodie isn't a man to be taken lightly or someone who I'm gonna run right through. But Brodie, if you're reading this...you know that I'm no push over either! So bring your all. Bring more than just the boot. 'Cause it's gonna take everything you got stored in that truck of yours to put me down!
See you in Reading! JIG
Brodie Lee (@BrodieLee93) will finally meet Jigsaw (@JigsawCHIKARA) on February 25th in Reading, PA at "A Death Worse Than Fate". You may recall that Brodie was supposed to face Jigsaw in the "12 Large: Summit", but an injury caused Lee to forfeit all of his tournament bouts (except for one against Vin Gerard in which he lost). Lee will now get the match he was supposed to have many months ago. He defeated another man he was supposed to face in the Summit, UltraMantis Black, during Joshimania weekend. Could Lee continue to prove that he could have potentially won the 12 Large: Summit with another win? Could Jigsaw lose the second half of the Roughnecks, after losing to Grizzly Redwood in November? Will he be able to take down the Big Rig?

Brodie Lee blog, 12.1.2011
12/1/2011: It's you n' me this Sunday in the Big Apple, Mantis. Which is the perfect place for me to stick my boot right through your stupid mask. The perfect place for a little revenge.
Back in March, you stuck your nose into my business while Grizzly and I were trying to take out some trash. I lost to a pair of chumps in the Big Apple. That doesn't exactly sit well with the Big Rig.

I spent a good chunk of Season 10 on the shelf rehabbing after surgery. The Grand Championship that should be around my waist was denied me, basically by forfeit. Did Eddie Kingston beat me? No. Did UltraMantis beat me? Yeah, in his dreams.
I would have loved to flatten you in the 12 Large: Summit, but as far as I'm concerned, JoshiMania is just as good. Back in New York City, with the eyes of the world on me again. December 4th is a fine date for a funeral.

Added to "Joshimania: Night 3" - UltraMantis Black vs. Brodie Lee. This match was supposed to happen in the "12 Large: Summit", but an injury kept Brodie out of action for many months causing him to forfeit four matches. We will now get this first time ever bout when Joshimania hits the Big Apple on December 4th!
