Like Iggins from the wreckage, we rise due to network demands. This is not my favorite of our episodes but I finished it and even though we lost a laptop (RIP) and these have become a bit more challenging to record, I will post this for the couple of people who would rather see it than not. I'm editing something else too, but it's not Zim. Still, thanks to the couple of fans we have for these, I'm glad you enjoy our babble!

In this one we mostly talk about Shunk being great and the meta of how the world is somehow NOT cruel to a good person in this show for once. Also Alexis cares deeply about Dib’s last name. As deeply as Gaz cares about pizza. And she forgets to draw Dib being a friend with Shunk, probably because Dib cannot make any friends, even when we want him to. Surprise! Another episode so soon? It’s true. It’s because we love you so much. Merry Hallowsgiving. In “Career Day” we ponder who really IS Count Cocofang? And furthermore, is he part of the government approved program to distract from the real conspiracies in the world of Zim? Probably not, but we talk about that anyway.

WOAH this is a thing. FINALLY. Hey Zim fans. We’re sorry for taking so long. At least you guys have had Zim comics to tide you over! Zim is officially back! And we’re officially terrible at releasing a podcast consistently. HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND. The next one hopefully won’t take 7 months. YES! NOTE ABOUT PODCAST RELEASE TIMES: This one took forever because of a lot of factors but mainly because we accidentally made 2 of these recordings about 4 months apart and I had to pull a Dr. Frankenstein to put them together. I do love making these and I want to make them faster. I'd love to make this a once a month thing at least, but since this isn't our main job it can take awhile. So I just posted our 4th episode of our Zim Podcast but since the Podcast leaves no room for visuals, let me share these two screencaps from Parent Teacher Night and Walk of Doom. These shots both really shine without me even having to point out why, but it’s always worth the time to slow down and appreciate gems like this. Not enough cartoons make use of angles, composition, and color palettes like these, mostly because it’s outside of their budget (or it’s occasionally outside of the vision or motivation of the storyboard artists and other staff) but it’s shots like this that can really remind you why this show holds up so well.

This week on our Invader Zim Podcast we combined Parent Teacher Night and Walk of Doom to form a giant robot of babies. No wait, that's later. Also I drew the title card, thus why it's not as good. In this episode we talk about the systemic destruction of an Irken's ability to love, a possible reason for GIR's increasing lack of usefulness, Zim's werewolf regeneration powers, and how Mexico must be the promised land.
