i really feel like no one in this tag actually is watching when cory and america are alone because the amount of times he has sincerely and genuinely reassured her that he does care about her game and wants to make sure she makes it far with him like,,,, if you can’t read between the lines of what he says to izzy/cirie to see how he’s trying to play this game that’s on you. am i saying he’s necessarily good at it or that it’s working in the slightest? no. but painting his intentions as misogynistic and cruel when they’re just not is a flat out miscontruance of reality.

My many years of marching band and being a prek teacher would have prepared me for this comp.

The way I would just pretend I was at parade rest and visualize the entirety of the first Shrek movie followed by Hamilton on a loop...

It’s really irritating to hear more details about what happened with the Luke situation and that Cory has to feel bad for telling the truth about what really happened and that Jared and his side used that to turn on him at the time. Cory shouldn’t had to say anything when the black man in the house didn’t say shit about a white man in the house saying the n word around him.

Accommodations are meant to bring disabled people up to level playing field with their abled peers. Big Brother is purposely having Matt play with an unfair disadvantage he has to fight to overcome just to meet everyone else at a base level and that is neither fair nor fun to watch. This isnt an injury they can just bring a doctor to look at once in awhile then let them return to the game. They need to add or alter things to make them equal for everyone.

The way they could easily provide written instructions, visual cues, and captions to every player in the house and the only thing it could possibly do is make it easier for everyone to play with the intentional obstacles, and not some unfair arbitrary ones

now that i'm back to normal, you already know i got a think piece, cause i'm LIVID.

first of all, CBS did not handle this well at all. we were fooled by them being SUPER quick to expel luke after the outrage, and they cut feeds for a whole day & a half, leaving the fans questioning the aftermath, what was discussed, what was happening, and what was GOING to happen to the nominees, and they made us wait until tonight to be basically disappointed.

the edit for this ENTIRE episode was disgusting to me. it attempted to make luke seem like some caring saint to kirsten, and dived into him being some white savior who didn't like how kirsten was treated, so he decided using the n-word would make him fit in. jared and hisam are officially on my shit list and i don't give a fuck if that's cirie's son. i don't.

hisam is a weirdo for pretending like he didn't hear what the fuck luke said when his facial expression was the MAIN thing that stood out in that moment. jared contradicting himself irritates me, and him wishing him well and saying it wasn't malicious is clear that he's one of those guys that ALLOWS it.

i also DO NOT appreciate how cory was put on the spot for addressing exactly what the fuck happened. he was scolded for what? like it was his fault? when he could have easily did what hisam did, or used it as gameplay like michael did least season. cory has my respect, i'm sorry.

we deserved to hear from the other black HGs and how they felt. how did kirsten feel about it? how did meme feel about it knowing her reaction was the most piercing? felicia and cirie? what about them? we needed more commentary from the other HGs about the situation. it was way too quiet and way too docile for me and it just felt like a total backpedal from what we witnessed last season. CBS is okay with this "black apologists for racists narrative."

the producers expelling luke and still allowing 1 out of 2 black women to get evicted despite being default nominees is optically disgusting. they chose to breeze through this segment like it was nothing and that's what's bothering me.

i don't think this season is going well right now and whoever wins HOH this week will be that determining factor.

I'm actually so mad bc they turned off feeds for two fucking days so we couldn't get the reactions to this reveal, just so they could control the narrative by silencing every other black person in that house. Like i'm so fucking angry about this.

And to turn off feed for two days! just to brush past it like it's a blip on the radar... just so they can go ahead with their eviction and pretend nothing happened??? what do you think people have been talking about the whole time your feeds were turned off? i don't give a fuck about the game, address why you have people dropping slurs on your television show! show some gravitas oh my godddddd

and another thing-- did you not have a plan for this season? how does it make sense to evict kirsten when you already had someone going home? yes there were 17 houseguests but they planned for that, so how does this make any sense at all????

All that just to have a trash ass episode, no twist, no hoh comp. y'all had people hyped about this season speculating all kinds of more interesting shit than you actually are doing, AND you're dropping the ball on addressing racism AGAIN on your "social experiment" show

NOT TO MENTION the lack of accomodations for Matt-- i'm freakin livid
