She’s not academic, she’s not got your intellect, but she’s got nerves. And she’s got charm. And she knows how to use it. When she puts her mind to something, she’s pretty hard to resist. I’m not complaining, don’t get me wrong. I’ve fallen on me feet, like you said. We’ve got an amazing life. A great marriage.

No Claymores. No rounds for the 203. No pistols. Mac, we gotta plan this thing properly. We need more time. This thing’s going to ratchet. We’ve got a ton of gear and we haven’t even lodged our orders yet.

A century later, it has never been definitively proven whether the ship sighted from the deck of the Californian was the Titanic, but many experts believe that it was.  If it was the Titanic, the reason why the Californian did not go to her remains a mystery to this day.  Over 1,500 people lost their lives that night.

I was never one for studying.  They say all the brains of the army are in the engineers.  I think that’s why I joined them: to get the credit of other people’s brains.

Every reporter that’s come up here has had the same excuse, you know, like the publicity is gonna help find Jason. What’s yours? Oh yeah, some high-flown magazine article treating us like sociological specimens. It all boils down to the same thing: exploiting people’s tragedies.

I think like me, Your Majesty, you would do anything- anything- to safeguard your people from harm. If you shun our friendship, we will drop a plague onto this island. Within a week all life will be gone.

Shut up! Are you telling me you’d let eternal darkness sweep over this entire planet and leave your friends to die? Your friends?!
