Okay! Un-filtering The X Files now after finally catching up on the new seasons and I just.......
Like, I’m glad to have watched on my own. There was a LOT of stuff that made me happy and also some “why tf....that decision?” So I guess I’ll scroll some certain blogs now.
#txf is such an odd thing for me#it was My Fandom before I knew there was such a thing#i was as into as someone with little to no internet access could be in the 90s#like each little tiny fan thing i did was so hard for me at the time#and they meant everything to me#that ache in the chest#and now it's a grown up middle-aged ship#much like me haha#and life does have a way of grinding you down#anyway i have no point just musing on this#i'm very glad it happened#the extra seasons#and ALSO very glad that this time i know fic exists and i am probably one read away from everything i don't like going away#and i know enough to know who to ask ;)#never read extensively in xf fic before#how different would my life have been :P#mulder x scully#x files#csv watches things
So I have never remotely been in the SPN “fandom” - but I watched it from literally the first air date (1. very much sense memory of the way my TV room looked then 2. shout-out to the truly amazing TWoP recaps I read religiously) until a couple seasons ago I fell behind and eventually let it go.
But I just watched The Road So Far for this season and maaaan....getting that feeling
