Is there anything better than a nap? Lazy musings turning into dreams. An hour of sleep in the middle of the afternoon. Time wasted and a mind rested.
The only better thing, Rose thinks, is waking up with arms wrapped around her, her head on someone’s chest, fingers caressing her hair.
Rose sighs contentedly and snuggles further into the embrace.
“Don’t wake her up,” he whispers.
“I won’t.”
The mattress shifts and someone lays behind her, spooning her.
She smiles.
No, the best thing, Rose amends, is waking up in bed with her Time Lord and half-Time Lord boyfriends.

what she says: i'm fine
what she means: it's been almost 2 years and i still think about how much better the doctor who 50th would have been with paul mcgann in the role of the war doctor. i just don't understand why a new incarnation played by an entirely random actor was necessary. especially when paul mcgann was so willing to return to the role of 8th doctor. are you really telling me he was only willing to do the 7 minute prequel? i don't believe it. he would have totally done the 90 minute episode. he's been playing the role for years off screen, longer than any other actor to boot, he would have totally taken up the offer to return to the screen. it would have been such a great book end to his movie as well; 7's regeneration into 8 and his regeneration into 9 both on screen. amazing. and do you know how much cooler it would have been to see the 8th doctor? To see him betray the name of the doctor, to see him become so desperate to stop the madness he throws himself into the war he tried so hard to avoid? do you know how much more heart wrenching that would have been since he's a character we actually know? why did they force a random regeneration on him when they could have actually used HIM for the episode? i just don't get it. it would have made so much more sense too. especially since in a way the 8th doctor really is the bridge between classic and new who and isn't that what the 50th was all about? celebrating the two and bridging them together? he was the first doctor to try to bring doctor who back - the bridge already existed. how does it honestly make sense to throw a man who never had anything to do with doctor who in as the bridge? that's just silly, isn't it? john hurt is a great actor and all but he's not the doctor, you feel? like we all assumed 8 was the one who fought in the war anyway, why change that? and wouldn't it just have been amazing to see paul, david and matt on screen together? like c'mon, they would have been fantastic. why didn't this happen? WHY DIDN'T WE GET PAUL MCGANN??? I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

I stopped the epsiode for a moment and it stopped here. I think this sums up 10 and Tentoo perfectly. While 10 doesn’t like what he sees and is also highly confused and concerned about it, Tentoo shows a childish excitement

Rose woke up when the Doctor in blue hugged her close and kissed her on the ear giving her shivers all over. The Time Lord was gone. Was he even there to begin with? Maybe she dreamt about him sleeping in her arms. The part-human Doctor continued to hold her tight. He brushed some hair off her face and neck and kissed her there. Rose didn’t dare to move. The Doctor never kissed her before. Well.. not like that. “’M so sorry, Rose.”
Rose turned in his arms and his fingers continued their caress on her cheek. “Why?”
“I never told you how much I love you.” Rose breath caught in her throat. “I saw you kiss him and I got jealous, and stupid and it almost cost Donna’s life and it.. killed the Tardis.”

A human Time Lord metacrisis is indubitably viable
“Felspoon it is then!” The Doctor in brown started jabbing on the console with an uncontrollable smile and a springy quality to his everyone move.
The Doctor in blue followed with Donna. The three of them caught in a dance, swaying to the wheezing and grindings of the time rotor. Rose watched them with pride as she hold tight on the console, an open smile on her face. She was back! Oh yes she was.
The Doctor in blue pinned her body against the console as he tried to reach a lever. His arms wasn’t long enough so he took her left arm to put her own hand on it. Rose grinned at him and he returned it with a wink.

Rose asks Tentoo: “And you?”
The part-human Doctor was standing so close to Rose’s left hand that he could just grab it and run. This was exactly what he felt like doing when the Time Lord in front of him confessed his love.
This moment was crucial into determining the rest of his life, the rest of all their lives. And his counterpart had said all the right things to push Rose toward choosing him except this last part where he couldn’t resist opening his heart and showing his true feelings. How could he compete with the bare feelings of a Time Lord.
Rose’s reaction to the love admission surprised him and filled him with new hope. She smiled at his counterpart, a genuine smile, the kind of shy smile you try to hide but just can’t contain for all the happiness wanting to burst out of you. She laughed, adding her tongue to the smile and took the Time Lord’s hand before turning to him.
“And you?” She asked giddily. “How was that sentence going to end?”
He laughed too. Was this really gonna be so easy. “Does it need saying?” A hungry smile appeared and he delicately took her hand. “Rose Tyler, I love you.” He brought he hand up and kissed her knuckles.
“I can work with that.” Rose acknowledged mimicking his wolfish smile toward him, then toward her other Doctor, watching them in turn until the realisation dawned that she just made her choice and she chose both of them. No one gets left behind.
The part-human Doctor could see fear in his counterparts eyes. This was not what he had planned. But he didn’t care, he looked at Rose and nodded towards the Tardis, pulling her toward it so she’ll get the gist before the Time Lord would realise what was really going on.
But the moment was broken as a jeep rolled on the beach honking his horn to catch everyone’s attention. He saw Jackie waving the hand holding her cell phone in the air and running towards them.
“Rose.. Rose, Pete is here with Tony. We’ll be ready to leave in a mo!”
He deflated in an instant. He forgot about Jackie, about Rose’s family. Of course she would want to stay with them and he would never have the nerve to ask her otherwise.
What should Rose do?: - Rose says her goodbyes to her family - Rose invites her family aboard the Tardis

…for a while but not permanently. It is double the fun but it would also be double the work for poor Rose. I don’t mean the fun kind of work either. I mean having to deal with 2 overly emotional, hyper Doctors. It would be exhausting.
