I've updated the Etsy store with more prints (and new pictures), so give that a look if you need something to cover your wall! https://www.etsy.com/shop/cheshirecatart
I've got a mess of other stuff I could post up, but for the sake of being timely, here's my print for Bioshock Infinite. I'll have this at Dallas Comic Con next month, if anyone wants me to reserve one. This game was such a ride. Anyway, new art up at http://www.cheshirecatart.com/gallery13.html , as always!
2013
Wow. New year. I always try to up my game twice a year: the new year, and my birthday (not that I'm not always trying to up my game). These are the points in time when I feel like I need to progress the most. I've got a lot in store for this year, and while I'm a smidge burnt out from last year, I'm going to use this momentum to finish everything in front of me.
Dragonslayer's about halfway through. I need to finish the script, then pencil, ink, tone, and letter the remaining chunk of those pages, in addition to polishing everything up. I'm also planning on doing a Kickstarter for the publishing costs of issue 1. More info on that as I work out how I want to approach that.
At the end of every year I go back to the gallery and rearrange it, putting my favorite pictures up top so I can focus on the lessons I learned doing those pictures. That's not to say anything at the bottom of the page are pictures I don't like, just that the first few rows of pictures are ones I feel I achieved what I was going for.
I went back to all of my .psd files and reduced a good chunk of my pictures this year to just the B&W lineart. You can view everything at my facebook page. Below are some of my favorites:
#bioshock #bigdaddy #littlesister #commission. I love drawing Big Daddies. Some of the best video game design ever!
