That is why Felicity left you…

You guy, this was rough. I mean, we know Felicity lashes out when she’s hurt,, and we know she can be cutting and mean, but we haven’t seen much of that from Dig. He’s not wrong here, not entirely, but goodlord, that was brutal to watch. And all those punches? They landed. Oliver felt them.

#this was harsh true...but harsh #i love how Diggle was both right and wrong in this moment #and how the very impulses and 'flaws' that made Oliver *right* about Andy were the things that led to his downfall with Felicity #Oliver doesn't *want* to be right about Andy; he doesn't *want* to see him as a threat #but if his past has trained him for anything...it's this #and so while he ends up being right about Andy's intentions #he shows us all why it all imploded with Felicity (i got the sads #it's okay though...bc dude's gonna do what he's been doing since S1 #he's gonna pull himself up; he's gonna learn from his mistakes; and he's gonna grow to be a bigger and better man #and that will be fucking awesome to watch) and then there's Diggle #Diggle is always right (and I mean that in the most affectionate way -- because he *is*) #but this is the one time he turns out to be wrong #and the irony is that *HE* was initially the one distrusting of Andy #and *OLIVER* was the one to convince him that people deserved second chances #so Digg opened up his heart and his home to his long-lost brother; and he gave him a second chance #and he did it because of his brother in green (but also because of himself) #but now he has to come to terms with the fact that he was wrong #that sometimes...people don't *deserve* second chances #and the fact that he was so harsh on Oliver here (and earlier in the season) and believed that Oliver couldn't change #is ironic: because in the end...*ANDY'S* the one who didn't change #and maybe Diggle's feeling lost right now; and the faith he had in people is a little shaken and damaged...but Oliver's gonna show him thatpeople *CAN* change if they want to; and he's gonna show Digg that by changing himself #ISWTG this relationship has such complexities I wanna cry #Quiggle forever (via @ah-maa-zing)
