I feel like just by being who he is (ie total husband material amirite) plus being a bit of a people pleaser, Trey would probably end up surrounded by fangirls
Sometimes he'd feel flattered by the attention, but he's definitely implied a few times that he doesn't like standing out. So I think it would be a conundrum where Trey's always a little anxious in the background when he's got an audience, but he's too nice to outright tell them not to cluster around him
He gets teased for this by jealous friends

And it would make sense that Cater would be the one to remind him of his lowkey popularity. He always came off to me as someone who really wants to be liked. We already know that Cater is all about social media attention and followers. He has quite a few voice lines where he almost seems like he's seeking validation? He'll ask for Yuu's opinion about the way he looks or acts a lot. He didn't say anything about the fact that he didn't like sweet foods for seemingly no reason but to not step on anyone's toes. He didn't really speak out against Riddle during the events of Book 1... Cater is a total people pleaser 😭 (which now that I think about it his signature spell plays into that really well)
