Chauncey and Chumley's Dad

The excellent duo band Deap Vally is calling it a career and embarking on a farewell tour. I saw them once, back in 2016 on the bill with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Death From Above at House Of Blues in Chicago. They were excellent and fun to meet at their merch table. They have made some enjoyable music so I am kicking off the weekend with Smile More from their fine album Femejism.

I enjoyed a fine evening last night at House of Blues Chicago with some awesome music from Deap Vally, Death From Above 1979 and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I’m still buzzing from the show so I’m kicking off the weekend with B.R.M.C.’s Whatever Happened To My Rock ‘N’ Roll (Punk Song).
